I just got a new computer with a GeForce 7900 GT card, but for some reason I can't get tv-out to function as it did on my old GeForce cards
When I run a video on my computer it goes full-screen on my tv, and depending on which movie I run, I get into one of two problems:
1) The movie fills out all of the screen, as my tv isn't a 16:9 tv, everything becomes taller than it should be
2) The other problem is much worse: This also goes to the top of the tv (making everybody taller), but it doesn't use the space at the sides of the tv, making it look like this:
How do I make the videos show up as they're supposed to? :
Just installed the latest drivers, but can't find that option anywhere. I did manage to get all movies to show full screen now, but there's still the "everything is too tall" problem
I have searched through the control panel (both new and old style) many times, but haven't anywhere to set 4:3 or 16:9
But looking at the threads on the nvidia forum, it seems like this is a problem with the new drivers... I guess I have to revert back to some older driver instead
