Everytime i use SecuRom loader i keep getting a message saying "A required security module cannot be activated." Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

turn off all of your other virtual drives if you have any on. other than daemon tools. and mount it in DT4 if you arent already.

No other virtual drives running and using DT4 to mount the image. "A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed (12004)." That's exactly what comes up when i use asr to run it.

I'm having the exact same problem. I also had it with Hitman Blood Money. I guess SecuRom loader just won't work on some computers

If I use CureRom i get a different number at the end. "This program cannot be executed (10000)."

Where do you have the asr.exe file?? If you have it in your game folder, move it somewhere else. (Desktop?)

I will say this like in almost every thread that needs "asr.exe" to start..
DON'T put the file in the game directory, rename the file to anything you like (I have "tryme.exe") and put it somewhere else.

When i moved it to desktop and used it a message saying "Please insert the original disc instead of a backup (1000)." comes up. The image is mounted using DT.

You have to mount the .mds file. Its only like 20kbs big, you can't start with the big .mdf file. It need to be the .mds file. Thats your problem now to 99%
