I think you guys are on the wrong side of the river. After you fall down did you climb up on the opposite river bank? or did you go back to the side you fell in?. You should go up on the opposite side, there is a sort of ledge way leading up the river bank, follow that, you will see a tree on a cliff above, you wont be able to reach it with the whip, there is also a small chasm just there, don't jump this, instead look in the cliff wall for a small alcove around that area BEFORE! that chasm. That's the way up.
If you guys already did this and are stuck somewhere else, well maybe this helped someone

You must hide and sort a peak out from behind a barrel or tree or what have you.
I actually carried a barrel in front of me until i got close enough to the house...sort of like in a Tom and Jerry movie Carry, peak, carry, peak etc etc

One thing I hate is that you can't kill civilians
Btw, what can you do when your guns run smoking hot, and when you fire a few shots he drops them?

LOL, that is just marketing bullshit as usual, to get more people to buy nVIDIA. I have an X1900XTX and I run the game flawless (50-60+framerate constantly) on the highest setting. |
What drivers are you using? I use ATI 6.8, but the performance is pretty low around 20-30 with an X1900 XTX (all settings on high, except shadows/medium 1024). Maybe its my AMD X2 4200? I dont think this game takes advantage of dualcore.

I wonder how you all can play in 1024x768 - do you all have old monitors?? Because on a 17" or 19" LCD the native resolution is 1280x1024 and only this resolution looks really sharp, everything else looks crappy. Too bad the demo ran very choppy in 1280 with SM3 but IcedFreon posted that the retail is better optimized so I still have some hope....
I've also just noticed that Nvidia finally released a new driver: 91.47 Did anyone try it already with the game? I hope it improves the performance!

I got a 4 year old 19" CRT.
Not everyone shits money you know..
anyway. now I'm stuck at a new place.
The bridge fell down, I fell in the water, and I got on land on the left side.
But where do I go now?
I can only go to the end there, so I'm standing on top of the mine were the bridge went to. no place to go.
I hate you.

1. Mounted image with DT and installed
2. Put asr.exe in game directory
3. Ran asr.exe, pointed to CoJ.exe
4. Even tried putting on all Emulation options in DT. |
I will say this like in almost every thread that needs "asr.exe" to start..
DON'T put the file in the game directory, rename the file to anything you like (I have "tryme.exe") and put it somewhere else. |
Ah, thanks a lot Spunk.
don't copy that floppy

No wonder that's a very expensive, absolutely high-end system.

But not in 1280 with SM3! Or the retail is really much, much, much better optimized. I don't know, I'll wait for the cracked release.
