Yep cool game, just played a round. Too bad my teammate had bad ping, or did I
So I had to play vs two computers... For a first round I was overwhelmed by their tanks, didn't really have any resistance until they started mass-building those panzers and I had riflemen.
Then deployed an AT gun but that one didn't have the time to deploy. Guess I learned my lesson, build AT guns!

no a regular Xp 3200. im assuming thats the max your mobo can handle. and its always recommended to format when putting in a new mobo.
http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=820562/search=3200+xp+athlon/skd=1
but may as well just get a new mobo and a dual core cpu at least instead of this.

Baleur wrote: | If you are gonna upgrade your processor get a Intel Conroe Core 2 Duo, nothing else.
It packs the biggest punch per buck of any processor you can buy these days, its the fastest one out there, its 64 bit, and its dual core, and yet cheaper than any others in the same preformance class. (the top class that is )
Dont see any reason for anyone to buy any other processor at this moment Other than AMD fanboyism |
AMD always ends up on top. ill wait for thier answer to Conroe then see how that goes.

Yo Freon i'm not sure if my GA-7VAX mobo supports 400mhz bus speed but i know it can do 333mhz
hmm it says under cpu support list for that xp 3200 N/A it don't say if its supported. i am using 1.5 gb of ddr400 ram in my system tho, but it's running slower then it should be i wanna get my ram running at full speed!

you need new ram too. im guessing you dotn have even at least pc3200 ram because your mobo only supports pc2700? and save your money. i assume you wanna play the big games when they come out in 07, so you may as well save up for a pcie capable mobo and dual core cpu and ddr2 ram. i cant wait till vista arrives so i can go all out. 4gb ram, 2 of whatever the best Dx10 capable card is, 650w PSU (or more if available) whatever AMD's answer to conroe is if its wohtwhile. and that sweet dell 30" monitor. lol im not gonna have to upgrade for years

rofl,
i got 1.5gb ddr400 ram which is pc3200, but my mobo runs it at lower speed
AMD Athlon 64 4000+
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
i'm looking at maybe an xmas upgrade to one of these cheaper but good performing cpu?
now the question is what cpu to get and what mobo
i like gigabyte, so i would like the best GB mobo for these particular processors i guess
i think even if i upgrade to this it should last at least a few years better performance then i getting now
