I think everyone who liked Total Annihilation will love this; Big maps, no fucking unit cap (most likely), larger battles etc.

Have to agree, looks like any ol RTS game to me. Also saw the movie from E3 and was not impressed.

Exactly. Unit cap is just a lame fucking way to force people to use "tactics" (lol) in a game that lacks any form of tactics.

I also think it looks crappy. The graphics are pretty poor. Especially for a 2007 PC title.

what TA had in spades were really interesting units (ground, air & sea) & excellent base defences (Plasma battery, pop-up cannon) and long-range weapons (Bertha cannon, nukes) and then fantastic gameplay on loads of different worlds.

good story-line & usually starting off with just *1* unit - The Commander & a fog-of-war & then base-building, exploring, upgrading, etc.

and then there were the *mad firefights* - defending against incoming Krogoths was a pants-of-the-seat affair <BG>.

Great CD music too - orchestral & fitting each world really well.

Just *brilliant*

If CT can recreate these thinhs with Supreme Commander I will happily buy it, worship it & clean the VDVD & case each & every evening :O
  You wanted a Miracle, I give you the F. B. Eye !!
