Amazing really. It didn't touch me at the start of the video until I read the text at the side. It almost brought a tear to my eye. Truely inspirational. It must be hell having a functional mind set in a dysfunctional body. But with a dedicated father like he has, well life has to be worth living. I remember when I broke my ankle. I was trying to walk with crutches. I got that frustrated I threw them out of the front door into the garden in disgust. Imagine being like that. It makes you wonder how lucky we really are that we have our health.

I must say I respect the father and all. But I preserve my tears to the 1000 kids which die everyday in Africa because of AIDS, Hunger & War.

Support bleh dude Razz We are doing a pointless circle of wealth towards our own selfish needs

We use aid to support the farmers within EU only to overproduce and sell it to the africans so they can use the money we gave them. Also not to mention the colonies all over which lead to Rwanda genocide and other internal struggles through the whole continent.

skidrow is kind of right... they will always need help, not matter how hard everyone tries. But if we only could deliver 1 million condoms to every family in Africa, then maybe... MAYBE in 100 years the situtatiuation would be better.

Can't figure anything about the food and/or water problem though.

Well why do they need help? They did fine before the Europeans arrived?

Doing fine and surviving are two vastly different things.

Think both were covered before the colonization. Remember Europe harvested plenty of natural ressources which many of the africans could have used.

These natural resources you are speaking of are FAR from depleted, the "evil white men" did much more in 30 years than what they did in over 100 years, those stupid people even confiscated the big white farms in Zimbabwe that ended up being private shitty african farms.

Besides, how do you mean that the européans are responsible for the situation that they are in today? and do you think that the used-to-be (and still is) wild jungletribes would be as civilized as they are today without european involvement?

Well sure we have some buckets of diamonds. But they cant live off those ressources. They cant sell the harvested crops because of heavy taxation in both US and EU. So EU sees a market and begin selling all the overproduced products to the Africans.
The Evil white man described them as the devils & used the people for their own gain just look how big England became. Zimbabwe is under an insane dictator..

Well yes and no, the white man ventured into africa only to discover ressources which they could use to feed of the massive growth of human population (especially the brits which had just discovered the industrial revolution.) So they toke away the black mans land, harvested the natural ressources and started building homes for the white man which couldnt get a thing back in the motherland.

It's because you're immature, 12 year olds also laugh at stuff like this. Some people take longer then others to develop a sense of perspective. Give it ten years.

Sublime, I think it was a mistake to create this topic as a sort of challenge. You know the idiots are always going to try and rise to it...

Because the price of driving a business and make sure your family is getting their mouths filled doesnt match up, the expenses are so high that the food itself becomes more expensive then its matching european product. They are bound to buy things from both the US and EU, since its hell of a lot cheaper.

If the US and EU didnt forced themselves onto the African market, the africans could feed themselve and basically rise up. Still thats quite hard, we still have war lords and war waging all over the continent.

Just bomb it to the stoneage and give them a fresh new start then? that seems to be the only viable option... oh wait, they are already in the stoneage.

We need to eliminate overproduction and stop selling to those poor people... Both EU and US, still that step will never be fulfilled. Then we gotta stop making money off its wars. And we gotta have the right intentions!
