I'm dissapointed that I allready know it'll be a dvd when I go pick it up later today(monday) but I still like it.

I love it the running game has improved more graphics look sharper then last year too

Well it does'nt look at good as its 360 cousin but it is a big improvement over last years. Man the biggest difference is in the controls, using the 360 controller on the pc has NEVER been this smooth. More game should be as silky smooth as this is using it. The flow and movement of the players is silk as well, game seems capped at 60fps though but man oh man does it play smooth. As close to a console game a pc has ever got sports wise.
If the graphics had been as spot on as the 360 it would be a KILLER pc title, guess we have to wait yet another year.

what do you mean with AA in the main menu ? if you mean anti aliasing i cant find it anywhere.

played it on my wifes moded x360 , it has the same graphics like on the pc - HEAR THE SAME but they only added Field of View effect - a blur effect and BIG buttons over the heads if you press the pass button ,
o and want to see the power of a marketing lie :
both screens came from xbox360 from gamespot , but on some sites this screens are used to tell a lie that PC is weaker then xbox360 , see the crowd behind the player - its 3d and on the second one its 2d ,
the same was with GRAW - on the PC box and in the press advertasing are screens from the Xbox360 game that is a TPS , but on Pcs this game is only FPS  , the same was with the anti-analising on the PC screens that was later a BS , and now in the latest patch its a blur effect that hurts your eyes

in game looks better than those ss on the 360, seen some gameplay videos that people posted and it was nuts, I don't own a console tho, but the graphics were unreal.

like i said the graphic is the same , but hey on a PC you need to have a powerfull card to have the same graph or console you don`t

 no not ahead , they only use directx-10 , that will be only available on VISTA  |

incase some of you didnt know but the PC version didnt get the next gen graphics, its using the same from 06, and they prolly wont update it till 08 once dx10 is out and if EA get their heads out their behinds when it comes to PC madden.

By then they will have stopped making madden-games for PC. Consoles all the way. |

anyone know how to make it so when you play a game in the superstar mode, you only play as your player and not the whole team ?
nvm he needs to be on the field to be locked on.

just to clarify something the xbox360 doesnt use directx 10 think of it like directx 9.1 the shader mosel it uses is 3.0+ its got some features of whats coming in directx10 hence things like the realistic water effects with waves in far cry predator but it isnt dx10. Currently on the best visual games like GRAW the current pc games dont come close in terms of graphical content to frame rate and stability. But lots of things will change with dx10 in vista. Its forcing vendors to standardise their hardware to meet dx10's very strict requirements, so me and you will benefit and thoese current 6 month $500 video card investments will have a much longer life cycle with dx10

the same thing was said when they released DX9 o wait , and then was dx9a and dx9b and dx9c , but now it will be dx10z , now they can use the hole alphabet , |

Hah, don't bet on it! If you wanna stay on the high-end you need to replace your video card every so often. I don't think that will change with DX10.

Has anyone noticed the play by play commentary is completely different (i.e. better) for the 360? PC users get the same commentary as last year. How lame.

read up a few posts. you need to set the autorun on the dvd to compat for win2k. also when you first run the game, set the multismpling to somethign other than none and tell me wht happens.

Sorry to intrude, but I noticed that a couple of errors keep occurring on my game.
1. Upon entering Instant Replay during a game, there is seemingly no way to exit it. I tried hitting ESC as well as buttons on my gamepad to no avail.
2. When trying to adjust the controller settings for my GAMEPAD, the game crashes to the desktop and reports an error in "mainapp.exe". This only occurs for the options on my gamepad.
Can someone please confirm whether or not I am the only unfortunate one with these issues? Thanks.

go into you control panel, and go to game controllers open it up, then note the name of your gamepad, then go into your registry (start > run > regedit) then look for the same name that you saw in your game controllers under OEM Name. right click OEM Name and pick modify, then change the name to Logitech Dual Action.

What multisampling? I dont see that option anywhere. Why arent there any widescreen resolutions in this game, is ea so out of touch?
