Nah I haven't got any cloaking device, the liir I'm currently allied to have one though.
The tech tree is randomly generated every time you start the game, aside from the core technologies though, so you tend to always discover something new. |

About to do the same. I hate waiting for games, and for £20 this looks like it's worth it. Thanks for the mini-review Epsilon.

No you cannot go up and down in battles, you can't build ships in battles either.
It's a Turn based strategy game with real time battles, the strategies you can employ in the battles is decided on: your researced technologies, your CnC ships "command ships", your weapons of course, and the same things of your allies if you have any, you have to remember though, research don't just give you weapons or better ships, but can give you sensor upgrades aswell, enabling you to give more advanced orders to your ships and of course see where the enemy is. Theres a whole tech tree of about 1-200 techs consisting of ai research, one which can get so advanced that.....well we've all seen terminator right?
those damn self sustaining revolting ai's!, on the other side these ai's can also be your friend in battles, but be carefull they don't get smarter than you

a bit drunk?  you can use them to effectively conquer a planet, if they don't get shot down, the higher population on the planet the more shuttles "or better" you need, just make them attack the planet then watch on the planet surface as the fighting starts. |

Facking hell I just got assraped by an alien entity which looked like something out of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" it had 8 eyes and killed off all my ships by slashing rays like whips out from the 'eyes' scary
