That's exactly the point I was making earlier in my post. No, they ain't providing a service but it's about respect. People are gonna waste nearly 4 gigs for this shit and it's a non-working release, compounded by the fact that release sites like Nforce are showing it as a valid release when it's totally fucked.
Like you said, if this was something more subtle or only noticeable after a few hours of play I could understand, but fuck! All the equipment costs nothing, you buy a missle and it crashes.
Ah, well. I'm sure there will be a proper eventually, a few days maybe. Nobody seems to be in a hurry to do anything about this one. TAGES is either too hard or they just can't be bothered.  |

well nforce should have a nuke icon by the game since its nuked. but it doesnt. then you have fools saying "well its not nuked on nforce" but whos dumb enough to give a shit if its nuked on nforce or not? lol

Guess ya gotta hand it to Ascaron, it's the only company I know of that has a protection thats brutal but doesnt fuck your computer up. Anyone ever try playing Sacred with cracks? Man the graphcial errors in that were actually amusing. I hope other companies dont start to follow their path, this could be a headache to the scene lol

Well just finished DLing the English version. As I got the German version since a week or so I will fiddle with it after work today. The German version just works flawlessly, not a single artifact, crash or what have you.

Not quite the way it works in USA.
a) There are programs for poor families who can't afford school lunches, to get them. If I remember right, this is one of the programs that ends up with unclaimed money each year since almost no one signs up for it.
b) If you go to an emergency room, the law says they MUST help you, regardless of if you can pay. This is how the 20 million illigals we have in the country get health care. They go to emergency rooms for colds. Which costs ENOURMOUS amounts of money. If they would just go to an urgent care or a doctor for the stuff that doesn't need an emergency room, we'd save a ton of money. But since they can't afford it and they can't get service anywhere else (unless they pay), they end up going to emergency rooms.
c) Take a look at the USA budget sometime, one of the highest percentage items is medicaid/medicare which are healthcare programs. Its roughly 20%, out of something like $2.5 trillion. So thats about $500 billion on healthcare. The actual total on health stuff is something over $600 billion for 2006. Its more than Defense funding, its more than social security funding. Its the single largest category of spending in the budget. So I dunno what you mean by saying the gov doesn't have to pay for healthcare, because it aint true. They dont have to pay healthcare for every single person that part is true, but they do have to pay for a lot of ppl.

i read that even in the same original forums of the game people report taht with the reloaded version they see different prices in things like 10x the amount if u use a DVD-R than if u put the original. seems that what should be cracked should be after the patch 1.2 cos that fixed not only some tages problems but also some missions that cant be completed due to real bugs in the game not the protection. anyone talks to the guys of reloaded about some kind of eta about a proper?

German to English translation (if I remember correctly)
The LEFT column is the english files that is needed and the right
is where they should be placed.
Copy the global.res folder as shown below.
strings\ENG\global.res -> strings\original\global.res
Replace the radio(stream) folder and all sub-folder.
voice\ENG\radio(stream)\* -> sound\radio(stream)\*
The RADIO_NOISE.mp3 and RADIO_NOISE_15.mp3 needs replacing too I think, not sure what
they contain tho (can't hurt to replace them)
Replace the video folder.
video\ -> video\
This worked for me at least.

this method is a little easier than accountbrokens since you dont have to open that file with winrar and add crap to it.

it doesnt work for anyone because of tages. it needs the real cd in the drive at all times or you get all kinds of crazy errors. this was fixed with the 1.2 patch but thats useless to anyone using the rld. until its cracked.

Nope, what was fixed in 1.2 was how dvd checks effected the framerate on retail copies (dropped to 10fps). I really dont think they disabled all the cd checks for the patch. If they had, reloaded or someone else would have instantly released an updated crack, they've already done the initial work of bypassing the initial dvd check, so they wouldn't have to do much work for 1.2 if what you say is true.

just downloaded the eng version to check the bugs , and where are the bugs ? i am in mision 4 and no bugs ? what the hell ? Just burn the game on your DVD burner, play from the dvd and then crack it - no bugs ? looks like the new tages black listed DT4.03 with spd125 , becoz if i mounth the image in DT this game prices for every thing are ZERO , but i must say those people that translated this game have done some fuck ups becoz some things are wrong ,

Did you ever played this game the german version if fine , i finished it twice as the bad guy and the good guy - so don`t spreed shit - But yet again you could be right about the US version some things where difrent

You still get all sorts of crazy errors even with 1.2 if you dont have dvd in the drive. That wasn't fixed. Thats intentional (the 0cr thing, jittery starmap thing, can't jump out of first cluster thing, artifact upgrade makes your ship worse thing). Only the FPS rate on retail form the check was fixed. |

hey man if u got ur reloaded copy working can u detail some stuff?, like u had to uninstall DT 4.03 or alcohol or anything or u just burned it on DVD and played the game, how far are u in the game, have u detected any problem so far? this is weird.
