I have FreeSpace 2 installed. Do you think I care about graphics? Razz

I feel the urge to reinstall Freelancer, yet again... Laughing

Well the grafics are decent. Story and cutscenes are really good, not the normal bla and bullshit.

Well, I've downloaded the demo and played it for a while now, and I really like it. It's not quite as fun as Freelancer (I can't really put my finger on what it is that ticks me off), but considering the lack of any good space shooter sims lately, this is a welcome change. And the graphics are very nice. I don't know what those who say it's ugly or outdated actually want. Rolling Eyes

Got the German version (as I do speak German Wink ) This is really a good game. Cool and easy interface (Space Fighter) Good story and a lot of possibilities to take your character in many different directions in the game Good/Bad what have you. I would for sure recommend this. Try to grab it as soon as its out in English, and that should be soon, max 1 week or so.
As the English demo is out, GET IT! and at least give it a go. Try Gamershell, they always have fast servers. Its pretty big 850 meg or so, but the demo is also pretty long Wink

I also played the german version and I must say it's not a bad game, but I liked Freelancer a lot better.
But as I said it's still well done, it's just a matter of taste. So if you're into space action/sims you should definitely give this one a try.

The game has already been uploaded so don't talk shit, but it's an image without crack, and as the protection of the english version has tages, the sectors read backwards are not included.
I wonder if the german crack from the protect disk version works on this one. Try to download it tomorrow.
Maybe the english language files can be used for the german version, should be nice.

What's stupid about that?

You download a game to try it, then if you like it, you buy it to support the developers.

Noobs think thats stupid because they don't see the reason to buy a game they allready 'have'. I think some of them dosn't even install the orginal version. They buy it just to support. ^^

exactly, some people just buy it to support the game IF the game is a good one. But to know if it's a good one people pirate/demo it first.

so IMO it's redundant to wait for a regional release if a version of your language had already been released elsewhere. no point waiting for the release to buy the game if you havn't already tried it.
