@Immunity: You should really tell the developers before they release an unrealistic WWII Game.
I also actually thought this game would be very realistic. I saw that video someone posted in here. In the video the sherman took about 3 hits from one Tiger and one Panther and wasn't destroyed! Unbelievable! Sad
But the explosions sound and look very nice! ^^

Man after reading immunity's "review" i'm really not looking forwards to this game anymore Sad

I thought it was going to be be like Soldiers: heroes of WW II, where you could assign any weapon to any unit to suit the situation. But apparently not Crying or Very sad What a bunch of fags, what were they thinking using the DoW system for a WWII game? Anyways, "Faces of War" is coming out this year, and it's the sequel to "Soldiers". That game is going to fucking rule. If you want realism, get that.

Still looking forward to it, perhaps not as much as I used to.. but hey, seems like a quite enjoyable game.. and I'm not striving for realism that much, although hearing a sherman withstanding several shots from a panther/tiger does sound a bit weird. Hopefully fixed as the game hits the shells.

I think this entire game is worth it just to watch squads of troops battling it out in situations where there are several opportunities for cover. It's a lot of fun to watch!

Yep its fun to watch for sure.

In the final release, they will include a movie editing tool to make and edit your own WW2 movies based on game replays. Gonna be quite fun.

On a sidenote, if you want a very realistic WW2 RTS game, Faces of War demo will be released the 20th on fileplanet. It also have fully destoryable envoriments like CoH and smart AI (or so they say)

Dont count on it. Smile

I just hope somebody will make a nice realism mod for the game after it is released. If that happens, and the game comes with a map editor, I will get it.
