remember i was asking for help about the camera n game controls?...well,i did all again (the JoyToPad stuff) and now the game wont let me move the camera with the right stick!..i mean,left stick moves Dante,but right stick NOW MOVES CAMERA..the weird thing is that i removed the 2nd "Joystick" from the JoyToPad program but still nothing...plus if i move up n down the right analog at the menus,the selector goes left n right (???????)
Help please?

look at old posts at page 8 or 9 by me,i did everything one dude told me to do in order to make the left analog move Dante and the right one the camera..thou i dunno why now it got crazy!

guy ...whats the problem. is the left stick not controlling him? your post is a bunch of nonsense.

1.WASD keys are mapped w/ up,down,left,right at "Joystick 1" from JoyToPad
2.JoyStick 2 disabled all (it wont appear at the Joysticks tab
3.Minimized,then run DMC3
4.Left stick CONTROLS HIM,RIGHT STICK CONTROLS HIM TOO REVERSEDLY.
got that?,Do you need screenshots?

uh thats how its gonna be. unless you found soem way to make the right stick control the camera before. just dont use the right stick.

When i play without JTP,the game works like everyone experienced..left stick moves camera,right stick controls Dante weirdly..when i play it with JTP,it makes both sticks move Dante..
Why dont you show me your JTP configuration for DMC3?,maybe that might help out?
PD: you need the right stick to check around before some1 slashes ya ass

dude...anyone who used the joytokey DOES NOT use the rigth stick since you cant map the camera controls over the movement controls. just dont use the right stick. and btw the problem was the left stick did nothing. thats the only reason you can map the wasd to that stick.

I use an ancient sidewinder dual strike with that fancy perspective control
Now it has no analog stiks
Now in joytoykey when i map wasd to the left... of the pad the d-pad does not take it
rather the hat controls take it.
So is there any way to make the dpad take the wasd inputs.

my game crashes all the time on level 2 either when the enemies with the bombs appear, or when the boss appears. anyone ever figure out a solution?

this patch has a little tool that makes it able to switch the analogs. i dont know what other fixes there are since its all in jap and i cant find the nfo for this, but thats all i needed. halleliujah. its on GCW btw.

If you're really desperate for switching the analog sticks here's what you can do:
Click on Start > Run > and type regedit.exe
Once you get there it'll be a bunch of folders. Go to this folder:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\
Once you are there, it shows a long list of folders that start with "VID_" or "PID_". Scroll down through the list until you your controller's name on the right side. To find your controller name go to Control Panel and then Game Controllers.
Once you have found your controller's name under one of the folders that start with "VID_" or "PID_" you need to find or create a subfolder called "Axes". It might already be there, if it's not right-click and press "New key".
Then under "Axes" there should be 4-10 subfolders. If you are playing with a standard PS/PS2 controller, with two analog sticks, you need to create four more folders/keys. Call them "0", "1", "2", and "5". If they're already there that's OK.
Then in each number 0, 1, 2, and 5 you need to right-click and press "New" > "Binary Value". Call it "attributes". Create another one and call it "FFAttributes".
Do this for each number. So you should have one "attributes" and one "FFAttributes" in each number.
Then modify those binary values accordingly (the bolded key varies from one person to another):

If you can't copy and paste then you have to type. Ignore the "008" that will begin on the next line.
Once you have done that your arrow keys on the keyboard will control the camera and your left analog stick will control movement. You can use ControlMK to remap your right analog stick for arrow keys, and it'll be an 8-direction camera with 32-direction movement, which is better than 8-direction movement and no camera.
NOTE: This is a permanent change to your controller (only for PC) and the only way you can change it back it by deleting "Axes" folder or remodifying "attributes" and "FFAttributes"

question acme420. why would anyone do all of that if you can just use the tool in the update and hit a simple button that says "switch analogs?" that all looks like a bunch of useless steps imo.

ok it works after i copied all the files over. at first i only copied the config program over. also the exe doesnt have any protection anymore. its so much easier playing with working controls. no more moving with the right analog.

open it up click edit click whatever button you wanna map then hit the same button on your gamepad then hit reverse L/R at the top right and when youre done dbl clck save

i've chosen both sticks in the menu,then pushes 'em and the button number's appeared..then i press Reverse LR..i double click Save,but it doesn lights up nor nothing..when i leave the program open and open the game,the controls are still the SAME BAD as always...
