There are no cut versions... if there was to be one however, it'd likely end up being the German version... but the game isn't even certified there yet (as far as I know).

The Japanese version is censored, and according to this the US version might be.
If the German version ever does come out expect that to be heavily censored too.

Let me see -
"UNCUT" simply means censorship?
So, if the NTSC/U version is censored, I guess we'll wait for the PAL one...
(I have heard the German "ESRB" is really against this game)

Region locking is part of the signature of the .xex (exe) and changing it will void the signature, and without a full hack of the 360s security it wont run unsigned (or invalidated) code.
Capcom did wisely to region lock the game, as it wouldhave been an incentive for many PAL users to hack their yet unhacked drives just for this game.
There was a project to try to crack the MS signature by distributed brute force but it was first threatened and then killed by MS.

Media has been banned in germany before and then released after a certain period of time. It might be the case here too.

It's region locked so depending on your 360 you'll only be able to play a particular region version.

I expect it will be. I loved getting games weeks or even months earlier then their retail release for the original Xbox just because lots of games get released in america first.

Anyone know what this is? Something to prevent MS detecting a backup? Never seen this before.

From your friends at #alt.binaries.games.xbox360 on EFnet
Directions:
1. Run "ppf-o-matic3.exe"
2. Select ISO File "ihx-dr.000"
3. Select Patch "ihx-dr_stealth.ppf"
4. Apply!
You can now burn "ihx-dr.dvd" with CloneCD!
Also your new stealth backup will work on all hacked firmwares, stealth or not.
But be warned that microsoft will eventually find you and kill you.

US censor is not about blood, gore and stuff like that. They allow ANYTHING, and i mean ANYTHING, EXCEPT nudity! If there's a freakin nipple in a game, BAN! If there's a butcrack of a lady in a game, BAN! Etc, etc....so prolly we will see some nipples in the EU version.
