Well after almost finishing the single player, I can say the game has a few major disadvantages compared to Flatout1. 1st - as I have already mentioned - the track desing...driving on the same tracks again and again and again is just so boring. And the track desing is awful, they are far too wide, the corners vary from medium fast to very fast. While in Flatout1 we had some very nice slow corners, that required some skill to take without loosing very much speed... here you just go full throttle 95% of the time.. 2nd - have the developers actually driven a fwd and rwd car? FWD cars are really easier to control in this game, they don't understeer at all (which is no the way it should be). It's far easier to perform a controled powerslid with a fwd car and to cause the car going sideways without even using the handbrake (which is impossible in real life without doint the Scandinavian flick - releasing the accelerator to shift the weigth to the front and the turning the wheel + going full throttle). 3rd - that gay catch up or whatever they call it. It's just impossible that they can keep up with you while crashing and having slower cars... Also sometimes you are going full speed with a good car and they just pass you by like standing... Feels so much like NFS:MW... Either it wasn't there in Flatout1, or it wasn't that obvious and annoying... Well the good parts are the mini games or so called stunts...they are really more interesting and varied this time. Also added air control adds more fun and makes them easier. You don't have to just watch your dummie fly, which is not that much fun... Just my 2 cents Haven't tried the multi yet... Screw you guys. I'm going home.

I hate narrow corners, because I dont like to slowdown. Imho the very first track in carrier mode is the best one. No narrow corners and you can choose to anihiltate the oponent cars or just make speed runs. Also Rob Zombie track pwns in this game. http://drpron.blogspot.com

Well then they should have just added oval tracks in which you could smash your oponents... The smashing part in the 2nd game got better, but the racing and driving is a lot worse and too repetitive... Screw you guys. I'm going home.

What do you consider as good racing? I find especially stupid if someone races away and wins the race without meeting anyone on the track. I like it when people ram and smash and trash eachother during the race. Clean racing in FlatOut is totally dull. Usually, even if I'm first, I wait for others to catch up. I'm not for the winning, but for the fun.

Mr_Miagi, most - if not all - races end up that way, Super smash party ahoy. The only problem is when you are the victim Then you're wrecked before the first lap,where's the fun in that? I know what you're trying to say tho and I think deelix knows what it's like to get in contact with me LOL. Btw. For people running on DUAL-CORE, and can't get ONLINE to work (CTD) try playing the game on ONE core, I just helped my friend with this. His game always timed out when the race was about to start. Now when playing the game on ONE core, It works. 1.ctrl+alt+delete 2.Right click the FL2 process and choose to run on one core. well i also have the dvd rld one, sometimes i crash alot, sometimes not at all, try putting sound-accel in directx on basic, that fixed alot of crashes for me in lotsa games (and sound-cracking/probs)

and when you choose the type of games you wanna look for, choose derby or so and put your pointer on the one below, so far so good

wish they would implement the icecream truck/el diablo car in the pc version tho Sad
