Dungeon Siege 2 Expansion: Broken World
OOO yeah im a hardcore fan of this series been pwning it up since the first DS + Expansion
very nice alternative to diablo 2, now I gotta door crash at futureshop to buy this expansion  woot woot!

ok heres the real comparison id say both games were good but DS2 had a major downside's to it I guess they had to make some sacrifices for the pimped up graphics with the new engine n all
1. There was only a maximum of 4 human players in classic mode gameplay
2. Party mode was alright if u and a friend wanted to play as 2 humans and 2 mercs on a team
3. Couples Mode was pretty ok like 3 Humans 1 Merc each, but I still think they shoulda done it as 8 Humans with 1 merc each that woulda been the pwnage evolution of Dungeon siege warefare reguardless of getting 1 FPS in a mob war
4. Cdkey protection to play online, yes I know this is a pain in the arse and heck 90% of the community doesent even play on gamespy mode which is like Closed Bnet, u cant use mods n such u play 100% legit, but theres still internet mode where its like open Bnet to use ur mods there but unfortunatly everybodys always playing on internet mode games. Poor people who play legit have to feel like loners most of the time lol.
5. You cannot duel other players to test ur strength against other peoples characters, even though im not a duelist I usualy like to pit my character against a friends character to see whats my strongest power or combination of attacks that works most effectively
IMO about DS2 they tried to make it more close to Diablo 2 cause theres a SHITLOAD of quests to complete (way more than Diablo 2) that will just drive u nutz and having to beat the game 3x to clear all difficultys that can take a very long time if u wanna do 100% in the game completion.
6. The game difficulty was challenging right when u reach high level bosses and have a few friends with u their HP just goes insanely high numbers I still havent beaten the game in elite difficulty yet so I dunno the last bosses HP but an example of a bosses uber HP would be that dragon that had around 700K HP I beleive, also enemys being immune to some spells and diablo 2 I dont think had this before with enemys on hell, in DS2 they were able to heal if u use a certain attack on them like melee attacks would heal their hp instead of damage them.
Now the first DS was just pwnage cause reguardless of not being able to hire mercs online u can still do 8 Human players which makes it crazy for coop gameplay
1. There was NO Cdkey protection for online play so rejoice practicly a free game to play and like razor 1911 sais, if u like this game buy it cause nothing beats a quality original 
2. Level 150 Cap, UBER INSANE Never before seen in a freakin rpg game, some people claim the max level is 255 but im not sure of thats true
3.The Secret Chicken level ahhh the memories trying to kick chris taylors chicken what a b1tch but the fullscreen of items was very rewarding.
4. the downsides to the game would probably have to be theres no optional cheat protection on the server list so whatever server u join they could be running some weird mod of some sort that might crash ur DS game, also some mods u install on the game sometimes wouldent allow you to play connect to any server at all, it was weird but true.
5. 1 more if I might add not to spoil anything but the ending to DS1 and Expansion there wasent a cinamatic just the usual note you would see in any generic video game and a couple of item rewards
6. This point goes for both DS games - The Item listing was flippin HUGE u dont have to worry too much about having the same items other people have if ur trying to be original both DS games they shoved a crap load of items that were pwnage in the later difficultys
Now thats all I gotta say about both DS games, theres a ballence between compairing the 2 games your gonna get 1 thing but ur gonna miss another both games arent perfect but they sure as hell keep u busy trying to fullfill the prophecy n gain MAXIMUM LEVEL O_O, now I wonder how the expansion of DS2 is gonna be ill be sure to post up Info once someone starts a thread about the release of DS2 - Broken world

P.S IF I DISCOVERED XFIRE WAS OUT MANY YEARS AGO I WOULDA FREAKIN HAD 1000+ Hours on DS1 & Diablo 2 oh what a shame  lol

DS 1 was good becoz for me the action was there you killed all pick up items go to town , and a new town was allways on the way , so this game was like quest , forest , town , quest , crypts , tow , .... liked that scheme .
But in DS 2 its only one town , looks like they wanted to make this game simmilar to Neverwinter or Diablo - forest , back to town , forest , back to town , crypts , back to town , hey where is the game here , yeah there are fights but this .... well i simply didn`t like it , it was more to static for a action RPG - for diablo and neverwinter it worked but not for DS 2

Just played the demo of Darkstar One (Eng) at least a good game to keep me busy to whatever. Gonna get me the German version as it is out. If you haven't tried it yet DO! its totally OK.

I found a french version of Darkstar One but something worries me : at the left bottom of the main options screen, i see the version which is : 0.9.1260 . I suspect that they use the unprotected demo exe to replace the retailed protected exe file. ( i guess that retail is at least 1.something)
Can u tell me on ur unpatched german version which version u see at the left bottom of the options screen ? Thx !

Sure can, I have 1.0.1270
The german crack has 3 files in it, Darkstar One.exe, Voyager.dll, Darkstar One.org
You might only need the exe but I put all in the game file and it works so... |
