when you say you went from v2 to v3 how? I just got my version 1 files, extracted the version 2 files and then extracted the version 3 files. Is this all you need to do?

Ok, when I click to join a game using version 3, it says "retreiving server info" and then after about 20s of loading it just kicks me back to the desktop, with no error messages or anything.
anyone else have this problem?

Noway Im gonna spend my money for CZ, because it has nothing good in it except the new Playermodels and updated maps. And a R9800xt is expensive (I dont have much money left).
Dammit, I just wait for HL² and buy it with CS:S

It's actually not bad, a hell of alot better then normal CS.
People hiding behind barrels and then you thowing a grenade and watching them and their cover go flying is very cool.

d) Counter-strike source only provides one map, a simple map, filled with useless rubbish to entertain mother fuckers. What kind of useless rubbish?
-Barrels, cans, movable objects. Other maps would have shown hostage A.I., water reflections, environment differences, plus many more
e) So what's so cool about preloading hl2 on Monday?
- when the game comes out you will have to wait three hours and preload the main files to play. That's less than waiting 8 hours to preload 2.4gb.
f) So what does it all mean?
- The preload is for people who want to think they are closer to playing the hl2 game when obviously they are weeks away from it.  great advertising. Also filling up your hard drive. SO MUCH FUN! Just like porn after you ejaculate hold shift+delete. No need watching 20 more minutes of the 22 minute porn clip.
g) Will valve provide further maps for counter-strike source?
-to show that their A.I. is scripted? to show that their glorious water effects doesn't reflect EVERYTHING only static objects on the map? To let people know that running on snow, water, and sand feels exactly the same? I'm sure they would do that 
h) Are you stupid Mr. injurious? Valve is the best game company out there! They wouldn’t lie to us!
-For a company that tests out a beta for people who buy their software instead of the people who played counter-strike for years (these people would have given more insight to where improve the game) Valve is a lying, money hungry, ran by a fat guy, company. Them caring about the community is total bull shit! All they do care about is how much money you have in your pocket and how much you are willing to give to play their BEST game ever!

Cheers valve sucks, gabe is fat and counter-strike source beta is horrible it’s all eye candy with a shitty net code. Hit boxes are fucked, far too many bugs. A beta? This feels like an alpha!
