Then try to launch the game without any SP2 updates, Winxp+SP2 only.

ya to bad thats all it fixes. i tried with a crack without a crack with os fix without os fix disconnecting ide drives u name it i either get a *force error or it tried to check the disk and crashes

I dont have any sound...except when I'm physically playing the game. No sound for the menu, movies, briefing, and so on. And ideas?

Anyone bother to explain what changes I should make in the registry to make this US version I have a EU one?
EDIT nvm change the Language key to EMEA

i actually have the game (ie real dvd). american version, not euro
just a couple days ago, i decided i wanted to play it again:
1. installed then took out disk
2. update to latest *us version* patch (i didnt bother trying euro patch, since thats not the version i have)
3. copied reloaded crack from gameburnworld (the gamecopyworld descriptions were confusing). i did NOT use the "os fix" crack or anything like that. just the reloaded crack
4. played game
5. everything seemed to be working fine

to show others that they can just install it, update, crack and play (since the iso ppl download is the same as the content on the real disk, i'm showing it doesnt matter if you have the "euro" release or not you can just use the usa patch and copy the crack and play (no OS fix or other needed, dont have to install the starforce protection, etc)

It's weird because, it seems to me that most of the people who can run it, has sp2 installed, but then again there's a few sp2 users which oddly enough can't.
