So is devhook the only app needed to run every game on the scene. Or do I still need the old umdemu/RunUMD/MPHLoader and other combo, etc

Forgive my ignorace, as the psp scene sounds kind of complicated from the outside..... but does this mean the psp is fully cracked in regards to game backups now ?
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

@hiatus_gsw
Older games will play untouched, but the latest titles seem to require an iso patch, what the patch does exactly I'm not sure, but they run after that, and usually other people put the fixes out very fast.
@jonels
All the latest firmware versions seem to be emulated and will run on a 1.5 system, so apparently yes. I think there are a few titles out there that still have glitches. But then again, not all pure .iso's will run, so fully cracked? Maybe not.

devhoo is a homebrew iso loader that can also emulate firmware's
so basicly now you can enjoy evrything 2.71 has on your 1.5 PSP.
The firmware is saved in RAM so when you reboot your psp few times it will go back again to 1.5 and you will need to boot devhook again.
Yes ALL!!!!!!!! games work now untouched... also bought UMD games and movies work now without the retarded FW update!!!!!!!

They work untouched?
Then why are people still making patches and fixes for ISOs?

I'll clear this up, All Untouched games should work with devhook 0.44, there might be the odd 1 or 2 that might still have problems.

I don't think you can, I just turn the PSP off and on again.

NCAA 2007 and Valkyrie Profile works fine.
Any idea what the new update to 0.44 does? Is it needed? PS2nfo has become way too confusing for me. There are so many releases nowadays and with all the custom firmware stuff, I dont know which ones are needed and which ones to ignore.

I hear you can run your own PRX files in this, and Eloader now works in 2.6 emulation.

Not sure how you missed this.. but 0.45 allows homebrew INSIDE of 2.71 emulation..
