Bioware gave up NWN 2 (to the same company as above), most likely dooming it to half assed failure as well.
Bioware turned its back on the PC in an effort to get on the console bandwagon and reap the cash. Fuck them, they're long dead to me. And they sure as hell won't get my support.
They may have made some wonderful titles, but in the end they sold out just like every other developer. I could give a rats ass if they have the talent, they obviously have no integrity. |
This man speaks the truth. Even KOTOR showed some console roots in many aspects (interface, graphics, etc). And making Jade Empire an Xbox-only title for the longest time really got me on my nerves.
Hopefully BioWare will redeem themselves with Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

jade empire for the pc? plz, if this was released a year ago, then maybe. But it's going to look so dated for a game that was released in 2005 to be released in 2007. probably no dual/multi core support like alan wake or crysis...JE is a piece of ancient junk

damm...i been follow this one since it came out to the XBOX or PS or what ever tv game...and i was sad that there was no pc version. i used to read some new's at gamershell.com about the game-and every time there was line said:"the director of the company said that pc version is passable" (something like that) until they offcialy said:"pc vbersion of JE is under development" from that point i become very happy:D cause i like martial arts and i still looking for game like Dark Messiah but with kong fu monks and matial arts..i even have script for that lol...or i used to have.
anyway..what i am traying to say is that i am not RPG gamer, but cause of the idea of the kong fu styles in the game and the story and the action based on kong fu fighting... i thing i am gonna be big fun of this game.

bioware RPGs are godlike ....KoToR rocked,NWN rocked...pity both sequels were given to different developers,mainly because of a dispute between bioware and atari KoToR just didnt have the same feel as the first one,and NWN2,although i have it in my collection(and was part of the close MP beta),is a bit clunky
jade empire..i have not really looked at much,i hope the combat is like KoToR,as opposed to some kinda beat-em-up meets an RPG(ie combat being combos/reflex dependant/using a gamepad)

too bad there won't be any characters customization , only 7 predefined heroes.. it's sucks for me- if it has a 'rpg' label not- a 'beat' em up' one..
