the two exe's are different (one store retail, one online "retail") so you can't use both. if the reloaded release loads without the crack, then it wasn't cracked; however if doesn't but DOES with the crack, well it IS cracked. and apparently the rzr release doesn't use the same protection, so again, you can't compare the two.

well reading the past few pages, NO the reloaded release does not need the cd, it's actually cracked, and the exe gets rid of the call home features. plus with the reloaded release, you know you can patch it down the road, dunno about the rzr release.

the two versions aren't the same, so i doubt the rzr release will work with the rld crack.

To clear some things up
RELOADED's crack is a securom crack and its version 1.0.103, it's obviously bigger because of the securom Virtual Machine which was added to the last section. Also the securom protected exe features one more check for the serial...
Razor's crack is just an unpacked version of the download versions themida protected exe with online check patched. This pre-download has the version 0.2.99 and it has one check less for the serial.
So if you people download the RETAIL CD release it would be very stupid to use an exe from some pre-download version which does not support RETAIL online play...
Razor has just a very lame excuse.. It's like taking a demo exe or unprotected exe, so their release = nuke
If you want full functionality grab the RELOADED release
btw additional check means that pre-download serials dont work with retail cd release ...

yes because razor just took the clonecd retail release and added their faulty pre-download version exe to it...
so yes you can take reloadeds crack for the razor release, but not otherwise (rzr for rld)

gamespots review was right on. it listed what was good and bad about the game with great accuracy. IGN's however was bought or someshit.

i disagree with gamespot this time round, prey delivered a really high quality experience, they said the acting could have been better but i found it extremely convincing moreso than that of quake or doom by far.

i honestly think gamespot was wrong with quite a lot in that review. prey isn't the best game in the world sure, but it DEFINITELY didn't deserve a 7.5, 8.5 at least.
