It is not an SF title. Plz don't spread vicious lies about the game. THere has been no copy protection announced and since it is leaning heavily towards multiplayer it may very well not need it at all so it is not an issue I think.
I follow the game vry closely usually lurking at the HellgateGuru.com fansite and they have asked this question to the developers before about whether it is going to use SF and they said that it wouldnt because it is not a popular system and may be in conflict with what they have planned etc.
Personaly I think the rumor is made up by the news site becoz it doesnt got any proof of what they are saying and the developer has said that they dont know what these guys are talking about but they are looking into it to see if there is any truth to the rumor.
I have played the game at E3 and it is definitely an awesome game so it would be very sad if it is true but i dont think so. So I am not worried about it. I am looking forward to the closed beta later this year!!

OMG another thread about Starforce. Full game may be delayed now because some fuckers stole the source code of few buggy levels and you only see another reason to bitch about SF

Guys games don't get delayed because the source is stolen - they have backup systems with all the recent changes. Games get delayed because they are not done, as was the case with HL2.

say what , please explain where are bitch about sf , and this thing proves one thing you cannot think out side the box :
Q: why they stole it
A: it will have SF (vr4 pro) or something else on it but its namco so it will be SF
Q: so why they stole it
A:to make this SF title crackable
and next time think before posting

Hurray for the developers. If this is true its a great excuse to say, we are sorry we havent completed the game in time. so now that our source is stolen we have to go back to the basics and redesign the game from groundup. Please give us 2 more years and we will make u the latest and greatest video game!!!!

Why the fuck does everyone think hl2's delay had anything to do with the source leak?
Really, why?!

Are you? Code is useless without knowledge on how to use it (not everybody comments every line of their code like Carmack) and the tools and data files needed to actually have the code produce something on your screen.

Thats just your supposition. You have no idea why hackers stole source code, and you cant know it, only those who stole it know why they did so. Probably they wish to sell it to those who wish to pay for it or maybe competitors are trying to sabotage or get stuff they are interested in, could be many reasons actually
so next time think before posting too

This game will most likely not be delayed because of this. This could be an leak by an insider too.

I don't know what was hiding behind Gabe Newell words, but he said that theft is the reason for a 4 month delay.

It's the latest in a series of frustrations for Vivendi Universal Games (V: Research, Estimates) and developer Valve. Earlier today, Christophe Ramboz, VU Games president of international operations, told Reuters the source code theft would result in a four month delay, pushing Half-Life 2 back to April 2004.
