They should actually bring over something people want like Fight Night. They'd have a monopoly in the PC game market for that.

you won't find any.
you can either:
1)buy a console.
2)wait for a working emulator .
3)wait and hope for some shitty port.

I agree, Fight Night would be excellent on the PC, especially online. I really don't know why they haven't brought this game out for the PC, but there again it's EA Sports who bring out the same titles year after year after year with little/no changes to the game. I have Fight Night for the PS2 but as I'm not a console fan I haven't really played it that much.

Keeping Fight Night on consoles maximizes it's profits I imagine.

AFAIK EA Sports is using a "next gen" engine this year for their 360 releases and they'll use it next year for all releases. Doesn't seem quite like last year...

im not a fan of thier 360 nhl 2007, the player models and skating physics are brutal, but some of the other ea sport games look sick.

Well the releases are staggered on the PC and the Fight Night franchise is not rooted in the PC scene - it never entered it and it looks like it never will. It's also not a niche product like Madden. Fight Night is very open to many different genre fans. The graphics/sound/presentation is so appealing for the general gamer and the fight mechanics and depth appeal to fighting game fans whilst the fairly realistic (without equal) gameplay sucks in the boxing purists.

imo. the 360 makes me wanna buy a 360 just for nhl 2007 ... i love sports games on consoles, and the puck + skate controlls of the 360 version are as you say brutal. total "freedom" on skates and with puck + club what can one more ask for in order to enjoy the beuty of hockey, except put em skates on your own feets and wiggle out on the ice. ^^

don't, my friend works at EA Montreal (in charge of NHL07 except on 360) and played the EA Vancouver NHL2007, he told me that the graphics were nice but the gameplay really sucked. They built the 360 game from the ground up so don't get your expectations sky-high it's still the first of a franchise and well dosent look very good on the gameplay-end.
BUT, apparently the game based on the 06 graphic engine is going to be very good gameplay-wise.

NHL2006 was shit as far as realistic hockey play went. Way to arcade like. Even with massive modding they couldn't get the gameplay more in tune with real hockey. I don't expect 2007 to be any better.

Yeah I tried tweaking all kinds of things and no one else seemed to have much luck either. Someone released a nice tool so you change various settings and even doing so things like shot totals were ridiculous and the way computer would bang bang bang score on a regular basis (which you see only rarely in real games) was absolutely retarded. It was very difficult to "set up the box" a lot as well, and other little annoyances that sort of ruined the overall experience.

If Daft Fat Americans who look like they have never played a days sport in thier lives, carry on buying this crap.. Then of course Ea Sports is going to cash in on it.. They are a huge company with greedy shareholders.. Each Football, rugby,American football (whatever) season starts/finishes.. then they know its kerching time once again..
Similar to those very sad hunting games.. Only Americans would consider killing defencless animals as a fun thing to do.. So once again the companies that produce these games will carry on doing so,,
