The game is mediocre. It aint bad but it aint good. Graphics looks like the consolegraphics and the highest resolution to play in is 1024. What is up with that? You run to a box and take cover. You stick your head up and bam bam bam, you kill the bad guys. Then you run to a box and take cover..this is the surprising part...you stick your head up and bam bam bam, you kill the bad guys. Get the idea? And yes, the crack is huge.

it was a fun game far too easy and the camera did piss me off a bit. a proper lean feature woulda been nice and the choice of camera view / moveable cameras. still its a pretty fun game and the controls are responsive. grahpics are outdated and on cutscenes mouths dont lose. plus the levels are really short and far too easy, ur never low on ammo and im yet to use a grenade too.

ROFL... SF3 is still kicking ass. Just got this game played about 5 levels, and every level has crashed back to desktop, again and again. The only way i have gotten around it so far is, when it gets to a particular area, thast when it crashes, at the same spot over and over, what i ahave to do is run as fast as i can past that area without taking my time, and for some reason that has seemed to work. Well up until the fifth level, i had gotten all the way past opening the door, on that ship, and getting inside, was about to storm this room when it crashed *JESUS FUCKING CHRIST*!!!
Now i do have SP2 installed (Final 2180), so who knows, i dont have any troubles playing all my previous games, just this (newely) SF3 cracked game.
Anyone else crashing to desktop, with or without SP2 installed?
EDIT: heres what my Event Viewer is telling me about the crashes
"Faulting application killswitch.exe, version 1.0.0.1, faulting module d3d9.dll, version 5.3.2600.2180, fault address 0x0012060c."
If anyone knows EXACTELY what this means?

I can tell you that d3d9.dll is a dll file for DirectX 9 (Direct3D version 9, more specifically)... so it may not be SF3, but most likely a graphical problem.
I don't know how starforce really works so maybe it does cause graphical crashes, but I doubt that's what it is.

Ok then, would it seem that this is maybe a SP2 problem then? Given my Event viewer information "faulting module d3d9.dll, version 5.3.2600.2180"?

Well i dunno what to say, i have finished the game, but it still crashed on every level, and always in the same place, i mean isint that odd? If it is strictly a graphics problem with my computer why does it wanna crash at 1 partcular place, on every level?Like i said 1 of the ways around it was to just run blindly (while firing usually) past the crash place just to get by it, once by it then the rest of the level went smoothly. Bah fuck it, i removed this POS.

Ha stupid graphic settings. You can only choose resolution and max 1024*768. Bleeh. Just played it, it seems ok but the graphics sucks.
edit: Worst crap ever. Never gonna play this anymore. Feels worse than Valuesoft games.

Just alter the settings.cfg file and stick in what resolution you want to play it with.

Well i guess its SP2 then, or is it Dx9.0c, maybe both? But im not having any problems with my other games, i wonder why? Then again i should play a little bit of all the games (ive only tested like 3 of 7 so far) on my desktop before i come to that conclusion. I guess if all else fails i can just simply reinstall my OS, but i sure as heck would like a definitive answer as to what this problem is. I ve never had problems like this until now, and its hard to say if its SP2 or Kill switch causing the problem because kill switch was the first game ive installed since installing SP2 a few days ago. Hmmm. |
I forgot to add in my previous post that I installed this game after SP2 and DX9C, and still..no problems occured.
