i have problems with this laptop, its asus notebook M3N which doesn't boot up beeps for a long then short beep for 5-7 times.. also pentium m picture shows up in the monitor...
check if the fan is spinning? Or maybe faulty memory.
Bad thing about a laptop is that you can't just open it without breaking anykind of warrenty :\
