I have 2 different 256 kbps connection from 2 different ISP (LAN & ADSL). I read somewhere that there is a possibility to merge 2 connection and the total speed become 512 kbps. Do u know how to do this?? Any software any trick??

There are DSL router available wich can handle 2 ADSL lines and act as a load balancer, don't know if it works with a LAN connection though, and these routers are expensive.

Only thing that have been able to to combine two connections are isdn lines and 56kmodems
It's pretty much impossible with dsl unless you have buisness routers.

You can use software to sort of load balance on XP either midpoint or wingate, you can set wingate up to alternate between modems so it only really works when downloading multipart files like on newsgroups, downloading 2 files at once from web page or peer2peer, midpoint would preaty much the same but could also split a file downloaded from some websites into 2 halfs.

midpoint manufactures went bust so only place to find that would be on peer2peer like edonkey or limewire, peer2peer may be the best place to find wingate for nowt (purely for test purposes, if not you can find where to buy it from here http://www.wingate.com

do you have a computer that can connect to both routers (LAN and ADSL)? if so, you can try to bridge both connections..... (doesnt know if it can work though)
