If you guys are bored in MP here's a little fun for you.
Goto your shortcut to your exe and edit the target line as follows with a -pvp tag.
ie. "C:\Program Files\THQ\Titan Quest\Titan Quest.exe" -pvp
Both clients and servers need this flag on to play, if you enable the flag you will still see both game types.
The PVP mode is VERY basic. There are no safe zones, and you respawn where you would respawn from a pve death. You don't drop anything but your death counter goes up. You can form parties and have team battles.
Have fun.

I'm sorry but I have to say that, none of you have a fucking clue whats going on. Freakshow was close but only in the first part. First, the way VM is cracked does not slow down the game at all, some parts even work faster. Second, did any of you even think that it crashes so randomly because your pc's are either slower or faster? Lets say it all together: m u l t i - t h r e a d i n g. Crack is fine, but since game uses a routine for unpacking which is NOT secure against multi-thread use, it crashes (unpacking thread-a overwrites data used by unpacking thread-b on-the-fly). WITH clone and WITH crack. IT's just piece of crap programming.

Strange because original doesn't crash at all under those situations, people who bought the game are making fun of the crashes. I rented it and have to admit it didn't crash once.

It depends on your pc - it doesnt crash at all with clone or crack to some people as well, it doesnt mean anything. |

I can try with cracked exe before I return the rented copy, if it crashes then it's not a bug  |
It can crash to anyone, there is no rule for this, it can be random area with many textures and sounds requested to load/unpack and youre done @ the destkop. |

the for that, now if you know so mutch waht does the "rock on" on thing in the settings file do? |
Turns rock music during the credits on or off.  |

it starts crashing for me randomly after passing Delphi!

Without crack I could play fine.
With crack it crashed to desktop after 2 minutes.
Too bad about these bugs, I hope they will be fixed soon, because it looks like a great game.

I believe the pvp flag in the settings file was removed from the full.. I'd stick with adding the pvp flag in the shortcut.
Hmm.. it should have added rock music (if you've completed the game first).

al you pirate first buy later, if you do buy the game later you cant play it online with youre "pirate key" caracter, why becurs the carcters is in some way bound to the cd-key. but i seem to have found a way arund it. go in to regedit and then to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Iron Lore\Titan Quest ther you see the cd key have the game runing tehn enter the legal cd-key and you can join a game with youre caracter. If you re instal the game (backing up ure caracter first ofcurse) with the legal key ure caracter wont be there then it time to slect him. Eny one know a faster way like finding the file that is bound to the cd-key. I have no legal key yet but if some one can test this i be gratefull. all we really need to know is if the game check the key in the register evry time you try to join a game and not have it in store some were evry time you start the game.
