i've a question...about the life drain spell.. it has a modifier "% of Attack Damage Converted to Health"- so i guess that means that it takes the base damage my characters does?
oh, and about the Unearthly Power spell- at last level it gets" +50% Damage, +50% Elemental Damage, +50% Vitality Damage, but with mellee orientet char i can do only one type of damage in a time, i wonder is it worthed.. (or i should really trow everythin in the liche king (and spend a lot of points in the mastery only for the summon)

boy this engine is so crappy slow .. 2x1900XT .. AA disabled and it still falls with few enemies to 20-30, pretty annoying, just nothing helps to improves fps, overclocking raise max fps, but not minimal at all.

Firstly, thanks you vespa for making a working solution, i have tried this with 3 computers (for lan) and it has worked.

Secondly, i have found out that you can use the same cdkey for a number of players (only tried the same cdkey for 2 players, but it works)

I played this game using method by vespa on LAN with 2 other people last night for about 7 hours without 1 single crash!

Does anybody know how to play co-op with someone over the internet because I dont see any servers on.

Or do we have to wait for the game to come out witch I beleive ?

Or is there a good software to use for entering IP adresse's so I can manage to play the game ?

If I remember correctly theres a program that used to work with BFME 1 since you could'nt go through the servers. I just cant remember the name of it.

Help would be grately appreciated..Smile

No, its not that, but its unplayable, its nicely 60fps .. 4 monsters on screen 20-25 ... badly stuttering, looks like over a hour its getting worse and worse, people who made it probably forget to squash memory leaks and optimise engine a little more, friend got Nvidia and its the same.

THIS WORKING GREAT !!! - 8 hours playing with no crash!

p.s ad2 ... i have all emulations off

14h if you run thro, if you do all the side quests and explore all the lan you can add 10h. And after normal you unlock elit and there you can find

After ~10hours i'm almost at the end of the 1st land. Done every quest and side quest (exept 1, couldn't find that blacksmith)

hi, risking to make another tech post, here are some suggestions for those of you (like me) how still get crashes. (Actually with this steps i still got crashed after 1 hour of play- but then i've looked that i hasn't did all of it.. so you can try..)

1.go to control panel
2. in the regional and language options- turn everyting to English (if your not with this by default Smile )(i put United States) (you may need to restart after that to let the changes fully take effect..)
3. control panel again- sound and audio device--> choose advanced from the speaker settings and from the performance tab - turn to "none" the hardware acceleration..
4.use prot stop and asr to run the game (having the game exe in win 98 compatibility mode with disabled visual themes and advanced text)
5.also i halfed all sound slides in the ingame option.. dunno if it does something..
6. play & make ritual dances for luck Neutral

Beacuse i do only have the .mdf file and the game wont start however i do.

For those who are experiencing some slowdowns : i've noticed that i didn't get the same framerate while running :

- (1) the image mounted in DT 4.03 with asr run on the executable
- (2) the image burn on a dvd+rw and dt emulation (no use of asr)

In config (2), i have at least +5fps up to +10 fps . So i think that running the game executable through asr.exe utility lead to some fps drops whatever the securom game.

Therefore i think it's best to burn on some dvd+-rw the securom games with rmps on in order to have the best performance Wink

Is there any particular reason why I can't HOST a lan game?

I've imported my character, selected host/lan tab, selected difficulty level, but the Select Map line and area are blank, and I can't select anything, the start button is also greyed out. Am I missing something?

Also, can anyone confirm that Hamachi plays this without any hitches? Willing to try the program if so.

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

You're trying to create a "Custom Game", that means you're creating a game with a custom map, made by someone else. And since you have no custom maps installed, there's nothing to start. You're supposed to start in the normal, the place where you start your singleplayer game.

And oh, Hamachi works wonders, no hitch for me and my friend. BattleLAN works aswell.

By the way, i'm on the second country on Epic now, no legendary drop yet. But bosses sure have alot of hp. :O

Started on Act II now, pure Warrior Class, loving it so far but I do have one chief gripe (also mentioned in the IGN Video review, normally these guys are idiots, but they made a very valid point regarding this), the loot tables are non existant. I'm just as likely to get an uber epic at the first cave I enter at level one as I am at level 35.
Hell, I found a set piece that adds +1 to all warrior skils 10 minutes into the game. still haven't replaced it now at level 20.

That's what made Diablo II so fun, knowing that it you grind the more difficult areas, loot rewards are better (and they get better as you progress). Here, the same level 3 required shit keeps dropping at level 20 constantly, so sad.

Also, haven't played the next difficulty yet, but thusfar the red bosses have been piss easy (possibly cause warrior is such an easy class? never played them before, so figured I should go for something different this time and started one). Hopefully epic and legendary difficulties scale accordingly as does the damn loot (it better).

That said, the graphics and music are beautiful, the clickfest is fun, and it bears so much resemblance to Diablo 2, one can't help but wonder if they didn't just rip it right off Smile
Hell, Act 1 is forest, just like D2. Act 2 is desert, just like D2. I'm sure Act 3 will be a jungle, and the final one will most likely be on top of mount olympus Razz

Good clean fun though. Love knockin those poor mobs 3 screens across with my melee Very Happy

You guys have to wait a little longer, the new CureROM Lite works with Titan Quest (I just tried it out). Scanning only costs 1-2 seconds then.

I'm off playing now Smile
