I think it`s quite good, a few new ideas thrown in.
Oh, and wouldn`t that be Doom 3 mod?

I suppose I should come to expect nothing but I was quite startled by how good the demo was on many levels but how lacking the actual gameplay was to suppliment it.
Yes it's a first person shooter but mindless shooting can only go so far when it's so unsatisfyingly dull, repetitive and unoriginal. If I'm shooting at something I want reasons, I want fear, I want excitement, I want challenge.... bottom line; I want entertainment from it! If all the shooting amounts to is simply aiming, clicking and repeating ad infinitum then I'm not going to be overly thrilled by the process am I. |

That's why I liked f.e.a.r  , killing the enemy was simply fun and exciting to do!

Try editing this part in PreyConfig.cfg , seta r_displayRefresh "0" to "85"
Not tested it myself , but i have on Doom 3 and it worked there.

Ill make a shit version of solitare with *REALLY* high res textures.. the game will weigh in at 3.4 gigs... so i can expect him to say
"3.4g .. must be a cool game!"

Amazing game. Game produsers shouldl learn from this. You can make an unique FPS. Guess this explains why Duke Nukem Forever aint released yet.

wow this is definitely the game for the Quad-SLI setup. Had some troubles getting it running smoothly but after following the suggestions from nvnews I get a consistent 60-70 fps with all eye candy. If you have the money get the Dell 30" LCD and the 7950s in quad sli, this is gaming bliss. Will definitely buy the full game when its out.
