Jea jea that's sure that they delete files, but when i extract the rar files then i get 3 gb files on my PC. So they have to be compressed before and not deleted.
Can anyone tell me how they do this? and why do they have many rar files and not 1 big file?
usually they recompress all music and sounds and textures aswell
with a lossy format
so the quality is never the same as with a full release
in any case.. making such an application would be a complete impossibility
every game is very different
all rips are custom made
with tools that help, sure, but still includes a lot of manual labor that won't be replaced by machines any time soon
and game rips today feel like a ridiculous concept
what's the point?
most people have broadband already
if you're still downloading on dialup, go get the damn game from the store already
and most rips are a faint shadow of the glamor the original game was
look at hitman.. movies.. music.. speech.. ambients.. what's left? plain boomboom sounds and ingame visuals
