could be posted in US dollar, or in €.-
i will start, here in Chile cost the lt, US$ 1,28, thats €1,02.-
i do this cose i think our beloved and uncorrupted goverment are now somehow fucking around with the prices, to steal money from it, of course.
prices here are expected to rise next monday (again).

The price is 1.8 - 2.1 USD (1.4 - 1.6 euro) for 1 liter
And it'll rise to 2.4 USD (1.9 Euro) in summertime.
But if you remove all the tax and shit the goverment put on the fuel, then it is only 0.8 USD ( 0.6 Euro) pr. liter.
But that's a price we'll never see here.
I hate you.

I think the last time I filled up it was about 1.18.
The total bill was about $ 58. Can. I think. I looked for the receipt but I couldn’t find it.
Compubrain is just bragging.
I think BC may have higher gas prices then the rest of Canada. I you go outta the lower mainland prices drop maybe 4 cents, sometimes.

kumkss wrote: | i think its not bullshit. makes a lot of sense. other matter is if egypt has no stupid taxes charging the oil, as can do israel have.
the main problem with the oil here, is that nearly 80% of the price goes to our fat, corrupted, and partymakers goverment ... that makes us sick. next saturday gonna give a "claxon morning", every car owner gonna make noice for 15 minutes as a protest. |
What will the noise accomplish?
Ive had a different idea for years now. Everyone, everywhere (that is affected by high gas prices) doesnt buy gas for just one day. When I mean no one, i mean no one. everytype of gas related industry stops for just one day. transportation, trade etc
You know how much money the oil companies would lose? tons...and it would show them that if need be, we can do without oil (even tho i dont think we can).
Thats something ppl should take seriously. fuck, north america alone would cost the oil companies billions and billions in lost revenue. Imagine throwing europe and parts of the mideast into the mix...they would lose trillions...
Still, you'd think the push for alternative sources of energy would be even greater nowadays. to bad know one hears anything about it. All we hear about is war and poverty and rich celebrities...ridiculous

yeah!! its a better idea!! but more complicated than the claxon noise... what you say is a step forward... is if the claxon aren't heard!!
still, is a first step. as i see it, the problem are not the oil companies. the problem are the taxes charging the prices that oil companys give, so is a public policy or tax policy involved in it... they see it as a good buisness. and in your case, in the case of canada maybe its ok., because you see that somehow your goverment retributes with something to you...
well, here are no retributions. only charges, and more charges to make rich the state arcs. they even have a discussion in order to rise even more some other taxes. i say FUCK MY GOVERMENT!! we live in a dictadure here, camuflaged by a democracy. poor latinamerica!!! i hera our neghbors are even worse than us.

Where do you live again man? I thought you lived in Europe. Europe is like NA is it not? Taxes pay for social services/public things - roads, public services etc
