Getting it right now.

Can anyone help me with my problem?

"How do I get Ep1 working? It loads up fine, but goes blank. When I mouse-click, it seems to minimize to desktop. I can open it back up and it works to menu.

Same thing happens when choosing 1st chapter. Goes blank, but doesn't like to come back."

Hmm. Now I realize why I hated the emporio/provision. The bad compression.

I guess I have lost it but I find the game boring at least the first chapter, dont feel motivated enough to continue. I was really hoping for a fun romp but too much FPS has jaded me.

Thanks... I´ll try it!
Maybe the problem is not from the release and is from the game, cuz there´s already a patch.

So the update is only for people with DX8 cards?
And also what's the length of the game compared to hl- opposing force- shorter/longer?

It takes about four hours to play through it, very short.

Yeah, Mark update if for people that had problems with DX8 cards - like missing textures and some models. Work great now.

Short as hell though.
