Image burnt ON dvd, so it is mounted with Dtools from the disc in the Dvd drive. Same as mounting from HDD. Sorry for any confusion.

Hi guys
Anyone got the original and two machines? IF so can you check if you can run a multiplay game using the one disc for me?
V8 2 only checked for original DVD on loading game. Therefore you could load and get into multiplayer session/take DVD out of drive out and do same in next PC and so on .... until you re-booted you could play to yor hearts content.
I'm having a geekfest with 7 mates on the weekend- only one or two of my cheap mates will buy the game - so this is an easy way of playing - if it possible of course. As i only enjoy playing multiplayer - I won't buy it if this isn't.

Thanx going to give it a try.
I thought it would work with burned dvd and usb dvd but than without Dtools.

adaptive dificulty log...wonder what that is..wonder if its adaptive AI that changes depending on how well you are doing...if so then it looks liek it is disabled untill u edit that file

I just have to turn off my nforce2 ata controller in IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers wich can be found in the device manager.. nothing more and all sf games run smooth ovber here

First, DT4 doesn't need SFCure, it's absolutely useless to use it if you have DT4.
Second, SF sees your optical drives. If disabling them by software doesn't work, then you must unplug them.

Ok tried everything again and i have to disable node and cd and secondary slave and master then it works!

ehm... a unknown german group just released a "cracked" version of the game.
guess someone had on his hard drive the very first demo of toca3, the one released unprotected and replaced after 2 hours with a protected version...
will try this for sure

Wtf is up with this gay game.
If I start some championship, then I can't quit the game, change the settings, etc. until i finish the stupid championship???
Well if it has like 10 tracks it takes too damn long to finish the championship...

That's the stupid part.
Let's say I have to quit playing for some reasons and I'm at the 9/10 track. So when I retire and come back later I have to start the championship all over again...how dumb is that? :/

I was able to continue while retiring in the middle of the championship. And on a second note, first cheat spotted online, usind that single player speed boost.. Hopefully a patch comes soon and solves that issue with some others. They really shouldn't but cheats in games to start with, atlest not the kind you could use online. Open all cars and skip a championship fine, but nothing 'make my car go a million and not break, so I can crash every other player online and LOL about it'

Hi, im getting that stupid problem with DT4.0.3, when i try to run it it gives me this message:
When i try to uninstall it says: Setup is unable to validate installation.
When i try to reinstall the program it gives me this message:
Anybody finnaly got this thing to work? I need 4.0.3 to run the game right? or dont i?
Some help here? Thanks

It also has to do with the game because i have alcohol and daemon 3.47 installed and i wanted to know if we really need DT 4.0.3..
