Story:
I am no longer happy with my Geforce 5900XT - starting with low fps and shitty gfx (4-15fps) in Oblivion Sad than following Hitman Blood Money (9 - 15 fps) made me really unhappy Sad So I am deciding to buy new graphic card, for a low price.
And "I dont want to" afford GPU like nvidia 7800, because in one year i will be rebuilding my whole computer - so for now I need a "quick fix" GPU
btw I dont need better graphics (I am not really picky:), but I need good performance (arround 20-35 fps).

Long storry short:
I want to buy new GPU. Which one? (they are about the same price)
ATI RadeonX700Pro,256GDDR3, AGP,VGA/DVI/TVo,LRet
ATI Radeon9800SE Advantage,256DDR,VGA/DVI/TVout
Could I play current games (oblivion, hitman) with 30 fps, medium detail (shadows off)?

So if you have any experience with these cards, please write something Smile
thx

my comp:
AMD Sempron 2800
1 GB RAM
MB: with AGP slot only
current GPU: nvidia Geforce 5900XT

Hmm, but isnt 9800 older card which supports only directx8?
I hear that a lot that 9800 is just superb card, but I cant understand why Smile
New games like Oblivion, Hitman must run like shit on that card? or no?

a.9800pro was the best highend card of its generation while x700 is midrange at best.
b.oblivion runs like a dream on 9800pro at 1024 with all settings on med-high with 2aa.

512mb is overdoing it when your talking about such a low end system 256mb is all you need

Here is one for 110 bucks and isn't from some uncertified sites like those other two were from

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102665

http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2121.html
The two above have no listings on the site.

9800 Pro. I have been using it for past 2 years+. With only 128MB AGP. Plays all latest games (HL2 Episode1, Condemned, Hitman) at 1024 on high details. Runs great.
