ITS NOT A BETA VERSION ITS NOT RETAIL OK BECAUSE XBE IS NOT SIGNED..BUT simply not signed not retail or promo disk you not sure whether it is a beta ok ..THE GAME WORK FINE 2 HOUR ON THE GAME...I THINK IS NOT A BETA VERSION BEFORE 4 WEEK TO RETAIL....NUKE YES BUT NOT FOR BETA:)

I for one couldnt care less if its nuked because someone thinks its a beta (and xbe isnt signed WHO cares). Works flawlessly and havent noticed any thing "beta like" (glitch, bug etc) so far so I am happy. But thats my opinion...

Beta's don't bother me as long as no major stuff is cut out of them..This release being so close to the sales versions release, gives me the impression it's going to be pretty much complete.

Anything signed without a microsoft XBE is classed as beta,this don't mean the game isn't complete or is missing anything,its just not been given the microsoft seal of aproval yet,
anyway i'll be grabbing it

Yes its sure the game is not signed and classified promo version but this version seem final 4 week before retail..i think is promo version and final but not signed xbe

Hmm, it shouldn't matter if you have 5 megs left on HHD cuz the XYZ partions should take care of all data traffic inside the Xbox. Most likely is because of the PAL setting(not sure).

what the hell do you do in the first scene?
I've looked at everything in the bedroom, living room and the kitchen. Nothing is happening!
i need a walkthru - i got the one for ps2 jap ver, but it doesn't seem to mesh with this ver.

if it don't work it may be because the xbe needs patching with craxton to make a microsoft signed xbe
Older chips don't work with unsigned code,such as enigmah chipped consoles,X2 and the likes should be fine

I think the game is pretty good very scary at times and u have to use your brain aswell.
So if u liked any of the previous Silent Hill u will like this one....

I didnt need to patch anything.
Worked fine from dvd-r with matrix chip and 4980 bios.
