Does anyone know answer to this question :
How the hell did that Desmonds ex girlfriend/fiancee know that she has to look after a electromagnetic disorder signals ?
I bet that Eko and Locke are still alive (but it's probably wishful thinking) and finally I was happy to see that Locke made a mistake maybe now he will take some things more serious and stop that crap about the faith.
And now they want to do a whole season about so called "The Others" Fu*k it.

there's nothing wrong with charlie, he's happy he finally got what he wanted so he doesn't care about all the rest that hapened, could be he's still shook up because of the blast.

The question was something like that: what does one snawman ask another snowman?
The answer should have been "do you also smell carots?".
Kelvin asked the question to Desmond, but he couldn't answer. When Desmond saw Locke again, he asked him the same question and Locke did answer correctly. My guess is that Kelvin was waiting for someone who knew the answer to that question, and that person seems to be Locke.
Locke, Ecko and Desmond can't all have died because there wouldn't be any "strong" charachter left on the beach. Locke will survive, he and Jack were kind of the leaders, and now that Jack's been captured, Locke hasfull responsability on the beach with the other survivors.
I wonder what they did to Michael's kid (all those tests), and are they really going to get of the island?

I can answer both of these questions, although it's really common sense.
1. Because the months on the log list are represented as either a single or double digit number, there is no 09 or 08 they just use 9 or 8. So of course for october, november and december they use two digits, hence the 7 digit date code.
2. Firstly not all of a plane is aluminum, secondly, the electronics would be severly affected by such a massive electromagnetic field.

Well having all that magnetic tape (the stuff on the rotating wheels) is ridiculous when they're so close to such a strong magnetic field, as the data would be wiped. But that doesn't seem to stop them.
Remember, Dharma has all this uber technology so maybe they shielded it or some shit.

my opinions about the ending:

that ofusctating white light seemed pretty much like a contolled nuclear detonation, and the fact that the hatch door flew across the island and landed on the beach, pretty much proves that it was a detonation of somekind, but I honestly cannot believe that they killed Desmond, Eko and locke.
but my main theory for that particular event is somekind of reverse magnetic discharge, but I can't understand what all that white light had to do with it.
but acording to what has been revealed this episode, that island has a great natural electro-magnetic source, but that source has always been harmless until the day Dharma discovered that island and explored it, then, by some reason, they began to use that electro-magnetic source as a power supply, probably they used all that power to somehow cloak the entire island from the outside world and with all that usage they understood that they had to made a manual discharge every 108 minutes.
I guess that the two bigger questions about Lost are the following, what the hell is that black smoke entity and who the hell are these "others".

I doubt it was a nuclear detonation, for one there would have been far more concussive sound and debris, secondly the light that they experienced would have fried them, and third; charlie would be dead.
It doesn't explain the harmless white light and the extremely low pitched whining noise.
Some sort of magnetic discharge would be more logical, especially considering thats what the whole hatch was about.

So that means there should be 8 digit codes aswell!!11!
I didn't bother to watch it again to check, I just assumed from what I remembered.

UNBELIEVABLE  One of the best characters ,Locke, probably died, and the most annoying character of all, Charlie, survived 
And I just want to throw this in 4 all the question or unanswerded questions u r talking about: You always have to keep in mind that this is a Sifi/Mystery series!
There're a lot of things that doesnt make sense, for example: What happend to all the pre historic monsters that were harassing them in season 1 ? nothing about them in s.2 !
What was s2 ep.18 "Dave" all about at the end? is it really just all a big illusion...etc. etc.
Thats the big advantage for the lost writers, not everything has to make sense! 
anyway, but I really cant believe it, "Chaarleay" survived, noooo!!
no shit, I fast forwarded sometimes when there were scenes with him!
