wow, it's come on leaps and bounds since I last played it. The core of the game remains the same I suppose though, and that's what keeps you hooked - it really is a great, extensive and fun package for those with even a passing interest in Chess.
It also has teaching packages to bring you up to speed.
Online capablity is also good.
I will be getting this eventually, as those screenshots look impressive - especially the new VGUI - much cleaner.

Im not a chess fan or play it regularly but this game draws me in for some reason :S : )

They have that pro dude helping them out with making this "game". He started with chess when he was like 8 years. Also, in earlier versions he talks and explains alot so thats why that many cds!

I love chess. I enjoyed Chessmaster 9000 pretty much. It had som very nice features incl the learning and tactics sessions.

Nice game, my dad was very hyped when he played it today. Might give it a try myself soon, chess is the ultimate challenge after all.
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!
