Great game and it runs brilliant on my old 9800pro + xp2600 and 640mb ram. 800x600 and most shit as high as it goes (even shadows on everything) except aa,af, post filter and soft shadows, and it looks great. Played to the second level and so far it has been a kick ass experience. Smile
I think I'll play it on my ps2 though since I prefear the big tv and the nice couch before nice graphics.

I'll try to summerize it.

Basically a CloneDVD release is a mislabeled EmuDVD as said by UNLEASHED. The CD/DVD-Drive requires the burning method (RAW DAO) to make a true Clone.

Unleashed is saying that DVD true-Clones do not exist because DVD-drives do not have RAW DAO. And that CDs are the only ones with it, so that's a true clone.

The last paragraph states it's still possible to burn their EmuDVD. However, you need a emulation program such as Daemon Tools V4 with RMPS emulation. You can also mount the DVD, but you still need a program like DT.

Hope that wasn't too technical, I find it a bit hard to explain since I can't say what RAW DAO actually is, but I think it's a burning method like what the NFO said.

So, are the features like the Crowd System, parallax mapping, advanced lightning and soft shadows also working on non-shader model 3 cards? Or does this game have the same crappy optimization as Tomb Raider Legend?

I don't think you'll have any problems. The gfx engine is barely updated since the first hitman.

Ha! W00t, just played it...GFX work at full detail with all the fancy stuff with my good ol' Radeon 9800, it's even playable. Great work there with the optimization! The Pc Version is sooo much better than the crappy Xbox Demo, I'm really glad.

This game friggin owns

@fiber: Just use securom loader 1.2 (asr.exe) and dt4 it works like a charm

My god the performence is unbreable. Once I got ingame with the water scenery I was getting 4-5 fps, and turning the camera brought me down to 1-2 fps. After I climbed the ledge and looked at the park I was getting 1-2 fps total. Wtf is going on!
amd 64 2800+ @ 2.3 ghz
X800 XT PE
1 gig ram
X-Fi
Also, I brought ALL settings to low, and was still getting the exact same performence.

it runs like a dream on my pc.

amd 2500+ @ 2.1GHz
1.5GB ddr ram
geforce 6800 GT

amazing game so far. the gfx are stunning with max settings. AI seems to be damn good too.
this aint no console port thank god.
