xfiles was great in the begining then it became shit.  Sorry. The last 3 seasons of x-files were rubbish. Others were great.

Which season and in what way?
Because many episodes of the X-files were individual paranormal stories, some of which were good, some not so good. Then we had all that supersoldier crap, and the black goo etc.

X-Files was far batter than Invasion, though the last seasons were only avarage. Personally i prefer shows with individual stories in each episode. But i don't think anyone will pick up Invasion, ratings have been very low for a long time now, Fox would have trashed it a long time a go, probably for some reruns of some crappy reality show.

I mean superior in general. Like in the way I would say the Godfather is superior to the Goodfellas.
The X-Files had its share of bad episodes and certainly the last two seasons were awful (relatively speaking) but seasons 1 through to 7 contains some of my favourite television. A lot of people disliked the later seasons (ignoring 8 and 9 which I consider spin offs) but I thought they had some really original and fun episodes thrown in there to keep people interested. The problem with the show as a whole was that it had run its course and the writers were going nowhere.
I personally don't think it is up for debate, the X-Files set standards so high and I don't think Invasion has touched them consistently enough to be even be considered a challenger.

Well, I heard today that Invasion isnt coming back next season.
Hope the series finale (tonite) answer's all the questions...or we're gunna be fucked and never get a final episode

the episode was recorded weeks in advance. They didn't know ABC will cancel them. If they did they would've explained everything in one episode. Well not everything. They would've let the things that would develop in three + four next episodes develop right now Or at least make it a 2 hour special
So it's not the episodes fault it left some unanswered questions. It's abc's for not letting them know asap so they could at least answer three.

Well it's not official yet what i understand. And chances are that some other netwrok will buy them isn't that bad. Atleast that's what i think.
Yeah it's not the episodes fault as Injurious just said. I loved the episode and i loved the series and i really hope that it will continue in some form... Cause this series is proboarly one of the best series out there... It's a shame people doesn't give it a chance really.

Agree. I didnt fall for it until like after the 4-5 first episodes.

I think it's official, read it on numerous sources, and i can't find it on ABC's fall 2006 schedule.
But maybe we are liucky and some other network will pick it up.

. Sure it was good but i personally Think it's better than X-Files. Atleast for now but you never know. Season Endings / Series Endings have some sort of way to destroy a series. But i guess it'll just leave us with a big cliffhanger instead.
