Crackfix got me past the "start game" menu. Plot so far (the Louvre) is pretty much exactly the same as the book. They condensed Sophie's part to speed up getting to the point of her warning him about being a suspect, that's about it. (Edit: After Langdon leaves the Sophie part isn't like the book at all)
Anyone able to force AA on? Jaggies look like shit and it's ignoring my ATI Tray Tool settings.

Is there any way to change the game to full screen? This wide screen bullshit shouldn't be mandatory.

I've come to the Nike room, and it seems like I should do something with the Spoiler: | small display on the left side of the big statue. I've found the coin, which doesn't seem to help. | Anyone know what to do next.

Use the ring on the small hole in the display case. Where'd you find the coin btw? I only had 2/3 secrets when I finished the Louvre. |

I found it by going Spoiler: | down another set of stairs towards the locked doors, kinda back towards the entrance of the room but a floor below. Out to one of the sides, on top of the rails or whatever there, lies a coin. |
Hope that helps. Also, fixed my previous post with spoiler tags, forgot about those.
Edit: And thanks for the help... I thought I tried that, but I guess I'll give it another shot!

Thanks, found it. I'd like to smack whoever put the retarded console savegame system in an adventure game. I had to repeat about half the damn Louvre just to get the coin.
What's with the color <-> black and white shifts anyway?

Bugger, I'm kinda stuck again... This time in the chapel (the 2nd area).
Spoiler: | I've found the two litte statues to place by the jesus walk with the cross paintings (or whatever), but I have no idea which one goes where. I don't want to try all possible combinations, that's just too many. What clue am I missing? |
Oh, and bad, do you have a multi-core CPU? This game doesn't appear to be working very well with multiple cores. Set the affinity to only use one core and see if that helps. I haven't noticed any crashes at all since I did that.

The next buttons it shows is W and a white(?) mouse, you need to hold down W and drag the mouse forward. that way you will open the window (:

You need to
Spoiler: | Highlight every single symbol by pointing your mouse at it. Annoying as hell, but once you do, you'll get to decrypt it. |

It got some fighting and sneaking too... No jumping. Really lame fighting and sneaking isn't any hard (the AI is blind) and fighting your way through is normally faster anyway.

I think the devs tried to use Fahrenheit-like sequences. When you had to push certain buttons (LMB,LMB,RMB,BOTH) it reminded me of Atari's game.

Hmmm, I read the book, actually all Brown's books. But this...well its sorta ok. Follows the plot of the book very much, whitch makes it sorta hmmm....well I would not say easy but predicteble in some ways. Not overly impressed with the graphics, don't look atall like the screenies shown some month ago. I guess i will give this one some more time....but later. Not a game I realy feel like I have to play NOW!...we see, maybe towards the week end...if its raining or somet

Spoiler: | You actually have to move the cursor around and highlight all the characters in the message before the cryptogram puzzle appears. It took me a while to get that to happen too.
The saturn thing is just one of the three things in chapter 1 for unlocking secrets. |

The coin, saturn, and helicopter things are just for unlocking secrets, they don't go into your inventory.
