You can download asr.exe from daemon tools official page
I haven't lost my mind. I know exactly where I left it.

I did what you said Zozo, and
"Please insert the original disc instead of a backup. See *securom homepage* for more details."
I am using the MultiCD version btw.

Desperados 1 was great it was the first game that had thinking AI in such a game , even commandos didn`t have it , you could kill every one and no one noticed it , but in Desperados 1 kill some one and someone that have walked the same route will notice that one of his men is missing and start shouting to the others and asking for him and if they answer that they cannot find or seen him then they will start a search party , and THAT AI and this idear of those badies thinking was awesome ,

Wow, that is impressive. I don't think i've ever seen that in a game before. Not even Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory or the Hitman series have that, and they are games that really should. |
The reason why we don't see things like that often in games is because it's player-unfriendly. It doesn't make a game more fun, it makes it a chore to play. That's not a great programming achievement it's a design decision.

SHOUT UP i wish all game would have it , but now playing Desperados 2 and i must say yup now i understand why they lost so many pre-orders , the demo was more optimised then this full version , and the AI don`t exist and where the f***k is the thinking AI and lost friend search and they don`t even react if you shoot from 3 m away to some one standing 1m from him - AND YES I PLAY ON DESPERADOS DIFICULTY( HARD )
i smell another patch to fix this but now this game is lame becoz the demo runned better then this 1.23 full retail version

You talk bullshit, Commandos 2 was not too easy and WW2 theme was not overused back at game release time.

Commandos 2 was easy, and back then was the beginning of the overused WW2 theme, though I didn't play C2 until a few years ago, when it was very overused

o and finished this game and i must tell nice western shoting game (lame story the first part was WAY better ) but no commados style game , this one is like spliter cell in western theme but has lame contorls and WHY THE HELL DID THEY REMOVE THAT THINKING AI becoz without it this game is too easy 12h on hard (divided to 2 days , played it only 6h a day ) , well the graphics are old but when you finish some levels you forget about that , but one thing that was lame in this game that your hero stands up to open doors or peek around the corner .
So my final score for this game is 6/10 would be 9/10 but this game is not optimised some times without a resons it lags , you hero must stand up to do things simple things and the story is kinda lame and the BIG reson for that low score is they turned a stealth game INTO A SHOOTER

It looks like this game was severely dumbed down compared to its original game.
I'll uninstall.

Hey guys, I finally got this game running and I am stuck on the "Liberation of Hawkeye" map, I know that I have to get a medic bag and possibly save hawkeye after that, but its way fricking hard, I play on easy... They alarm officers as soon as they see me, I know that you can knock out the officers with Sanchez/McCoy... but it didn't prove useful when I came to a officer that seemed t obe capable to alarm even though he was asleep...
Oh, what a shame that they removed Sam's voice =(
Please, someone write a guide for Liberation of Hawkeye..

I'm at that level too, it's the best level I've played so far, finally a game where you can't rely on shooting everybody
Kate can be very helpfull in that level
