man stop beeing so rude this design rock!! great job man

if you have trouble reading the release you have eyes problem.. white on blue is damn easy to read Wink

the only problem is that there are not TXT nfo link on the main page, only jpg nfo... but you can download the original nfo with 2 click so that's good Wink

cdcover is a good adition too,... too bad the site suck and it take a few weeks to have new releases covers

kiss ass?

The background kinda jumps infront, leaving what the site is about to the background.

If font size was increased, or a little more spacing it might be more readable. It isn't horrible now, but it's just hard to see what's up.

The back, reset and forward button above the release list can hardly be read because of their white color. Can you change that to black or a different color? Smile

I came to think of another thing. I think it looks messy atleast on 1024*768 screens with two rows for each release like it is now because of the sponsors beeing on the upper right side. If i'd designed it, the sponsors would wither go on bottom (preferably) or top of the left quick launch/sections part, so that i could use the screen to it's fullest to the right. Something like it was before Wink

I think so many shades of blue while gradienting looks bad, if the start was abit darker or the end was abit lighter, then it would look better. It also does not look good when ALL fields use the same gradient style (same colors, same color ratio)

I also think the NFO list looks too crunched together, maybe taking away the bold would help with this, or just increase the space between the lines.

Photoshop for the GFX, sliced up in Image ready. Tables then streamlined in Dreamweaver then aded to the PHP engine for the site.

ON the subject of colours. The gradient colours are the exact same colours used on the original site. There are no new colours.

I think you guys did a great job on the site redesign. A few things I noticed that could be improved...

1. The text nfos were nice. They loaded really fast and I could copy from them easily. (I know that I could do two clicks and download the nfo.. but I'm lazy Razz )

2. Add a navigation bar to the bottom of the nfo lists. Before you used to have << and < etc at the bottom. You have them at the top (back, reset forward) but it can be a hassle to scroll back up and then click to navigate... especially when you're just scanning releases quickly.

3. I was having issues w/ the forum earlier where I could login to the site but not the forum.. but those seem to have been fixed.

Great job guys.!

i'm only missing one thing in the new design: a way to show the clear text nfo. i know that there is a 'save nfo' link, but that leads to a 'save as'-window and after the download is complete i can use an nfo viewer to open the file. the old way of opening the nfo in the browser was much more comfortable, especially since i can't change the mime-type handling in opera that way that it displays the file automatically.

since it should only be a minute of programming i hope you can add this clear text feature, too Very Happy

Oh my god.. This new loook on the NFO really sucks.. Like really really sucks.. Its as bad as it gets.. Its way to bright and the bold leterring doesnt help... Also the NFOs and sections are all too close to each other..I think the old design was perfect. Easy to see and look fine.. Maybe you can make a poll to see if ppl want the old design back ot want to keep this new one??

like the new design, looks awesome, what would make it perfect would be to get rid of the column on the right so the release names arnt squashed together

I don't like it.... It hurts my eyes.

Also I'd like to see the sponsors and Shoutcast Radio on the left side, because if I open the site with my favorites open all the release names get squased.

I do like the new options and other minor improvements tho.
