during installation, a little app called "sendstats.exe" will be launched and sends stuff to ubisoft.

Thats quite a stupid question, since if you bought a 7900GT you WILL know that it is the number 1 card in the world (oc'ed surpasses the GTX).
And since you know that, why ask such a question?

Good Day,
I was a very big fun of HOMM serie...until they disappeared...During the long wait for this new version the only game that was similar was the Disciples serie...but really, I dont know why this serie never convinced me...Can anyone tell if this new HOMM is similar to Disciples?...Maybe it is more like Etherlords not considering the cards system?

Making a copy of something is NOT stealing as it costs no one money. If I were to go to a store and take this game from the shelf that would be stealing.
If you were able to make copys of food for free (think star trek) would that be stealing from farmers? If you built your own car would that be stealing from the car companys?
All knowledge and things invented by man should be open source.
I just love consumer whores who try to defend the rights of giant companys as if they are actully getting hurt in some way.. You think Bill Gates has trouble sleeping at night because he knows at this very moment "pirates" are downloading cracked versions of windows xp? Do you really think he needs more money? Huge corperations and Goverments are all full of greedy men who take advantage of you everyday.... Why do you think so many go hungry at night or why instead of giving research money to cure diseases we go and invade another country?
There is no such thing as a "pirate" here infact I see all of us and the groups who release these things more as modern robin hoods. The rich steal from you everyday wether it be money, land, time, or even your own life. Nice game, never play the serie before but when I heard of it I knew it would resemble Fire Emblem type of game, which is great since I love that kind of games.
The requirements are reasonable, my old radeon 9200 can handle it fine, the game presentation and graphics remind me of Warcraft 3.

znork, calm down. Just because we are here doesn't mean we won't buy this game. Some of it might simply test it beforehand, eventhough the demo was more than adequate.
Some of us simply get it because we can, if I buy it, there's nothing wrong with getting it pre-release, right?
I know you are a dedicated fan znork, but coming to the nforce forum trolling doesn't make things any better.
Oh, and stop hitting the StarForce bush. It's simply bad, tages is almost as good and very hard to P.S.:come by, yet it doesn't screw with your IDE channel.
Back on topic, I really hope it'll be as great as the demo promises. And hopefully run even smoother than it, low angle shots killed my FPS 
And hope to see most of ya buying it on release, it really deserves it

foxhero right? Well the problem is that what ubi sees is that there game is being stolen. Then they think hmm we must stop this. And then they justefy using tougher and tougher cp. There are now billions of dollars in copy protection tnx to people dling the game. So yes i do understand that people will dl the game becuse they can. But they think there are no consicvance of there actions! Well people saying im suche a huge fan ill dl i realy dont respect. And peole saying i like games therefor i dl only hurt the very thing they love. And people are saying way should i protect big buisniss? Well i only protect companyes that give me good games. And well ubi after the fans said it was to early sed well we will wait. After a huge upproar in the comuntey they droped sf. I see a game make listing to it fans and when i see that i stand up for it. So that way im her telling you guys that dling games hurt you as muche as it hurts them. And we that like to buy the games get slaped withe cps.
