There should be, it's called GstRender.MotionBlurEnabled 1 in the "ProfOpts_profile" which holds the settings for Frostbite Engine games.
(Well the actual name has varied a bit.)

Chromatic aberration is also available via either in-game or GstRender.Chromostereopsis 1 (1 for on, 0 for off)

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save

(Dev console should also work but there's not many whitelisted cvars and they don't save.)

User.cfg in the game folder should also work for custom cvars, both listed and non-listed.

Render.DX12Enable 1
Render.ResolutionScale 1
Render.ResolutionScaleGame 1
Render.ResolutionScaleFactorForCine 1
PostProcess.ForceDofEnable 1
PostProcess.SpriteDofHalfResolutionEnable 0
PostProcess.BlurMethod Gaussian
PostProcess.DofMethod Gaussian
WorldRender.FilmicEffectsEnable 1
WorldRender.EmitterSunTransmittanceResolution 256
WorldRender.MotionBlurMaxSampleCount 128
WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapResolution 2048

Something like that for example, DX12 is in the engine but not available though I kept the cvar. Razz
(Mantle is also in there as a legacy from previous Frostbite builds as is OpenGL for non-Windows versions.)

thanks JB, really intolerable motion blur Vomit

Seems it's the same solutions with the previous titles like ME: Catalysy or NFS.

Anyone tried sweetfx?

Yeah the commands haven't really changed much at all since back with at least Battlefield 3, mostly the engine has been added too similar to say Cry Engine or Unreal Engine so it makes tweaking it a bit easier though there's not much info available on the engine itself so besides what Dice announces it's mostly unknown what's been added or changed.

At a guess the Battlefield 1 engine is probably a newer build of Frostbite than in Andromeda but that doesn't really mean too much although DX12 could have helped performance a bit but Bioware B was probably busy enough getting the game into something release worthy.
(Some of the newer UE3 or UE4 games use fairly old builds too so not a huge concern usually.)

Being a different team they likely don't have too much experience with the engine either which would explain the problems with lighting and possibly also the way animations are though time constraints are likely a more realistic issue than the engine itself being the issue.
(Game needed to be out and thus certain things got rushed, tons of different little animations means not much time spent on them.)

EDIT: Going to be interesting to see what Bioware will announce today for the game, could be some vague patch plan or perhaps DLC release schedule.

Far as I know they're focusing on online for the games add-on content what with those bonus packs and what not so I don't expect much but I could be wrong, I don't expect too much for the patches either though fixing actual bugs and stability issues is something at least. Smile

I wonder if EA will actually care at this point - surely all those who were going to buy it, have, and the overwhelming amount of negative press will stifle much future purchases. They'll probably release a token DLC, some useless shit, and just move on to their next trainwreck.

It still highly irritates me that only YOUR FEMALE character has to look like she's been sat in the scream extractor from Monsters Inc for too long, many other females in the game look absolutely fine.

Yeah the Nexus site has a couple of choices, either via download or people just sharing the (few) sliders you have control over, I didn't really manage to do much but the presets might allow for different starting conditions of how fucked the face is and how much you can fix it. Razz
(Some of the Fem Ryder alternatives aren't bad at all.)

Also for the hair textures in that image it's caused by temporal AA which has that particular defect, SAM (Your friendly bi AI.) also looks a bit botched with TAA enabled though the trade off is a very effective removal of aliasing without the cost of MSAA under deferred rendering or having to use downsampling but yeah Bioware's custom temporal AA causes some odd glitches with transparency and there's some ghosting if framerate drops to very low values. http://blog.bioware.com/2017/04/04/mass-effect-andromeda-patch-1-05-notes/

Patch notes for 1.05 which will be released April 6th, also some other info.

Quote:

Mass Effect: Andromeda Patch 1.05 Notes

In the new patch (1.05) for Mass Effect: Andromeda, our focus was on bug fixes and improvements to the player experience.

We’ve introduced a number of balance changes to single player and multiplayer, and resolved some issues with saves not working properly. We’ve also improved lip-sync and facial acting during some conversations, and have implemented a much-requested change that allows players to skip the autopilot sequences in the galaxy map.

Patch 1.05 will begin to roll out on Thursday, April 6th. We’ll continue to listen to your feedback, and we thank you for working with us to create an even better Mass Effect: Andromeda experience.

Patch notes are also available in French, Italian, German, Polish, Spanish, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Patch 1.05 Notes

Improved tutorial placement

Single player balance changes: Ammo crates, armor, weapons, nomad, profiles, attacks, and progression

Multiplayer balance changes: Weapons, cover, and enemies (check back for detailed notes on balance changes)

Added option to skip autopilot sequences in the galaxy map

Improved logic, timing, and continuity for relationships and story arcs

Improved lip-sync and facial acting during conversations, including localized VO

Fixed various collision issues

Fixed bugs where music or VO wouldn’t play or wasn’t correct

Fixed issue where global squad mate banter sometimes wasn’t firing on UNCs

Fixed issue where player was unable to access the Remnant Console Interface after failing decryption multiple times

Fixed issue where fast travel is sometimes disabled after recruiting Drack until the player reloads a save

Fixed issue where Ryder can become stuck in the start of Biotic Charge Pose

Fixes issues related to some saves

Fixed issue where objective sometimes becomes un-interactable for players in multiplayer

Streaming and stability improvements

Trial saves worked fine for me too. What I noticed was that the performance took a bit of a hit on that sandy planet in the lab, even though it was fine before the crack.

Tried to edit femshep into something not ridiculous...

 Spoiler:

Still the character editor is practically abysmal

three very very limited sliders, no eye size, no way to fix eyes, also the jaw, no way to not make it non-manly FUUUUUUUUCK, the character would look half way decent if the eyes were a bit lower, can I move them NOPE!!! you can move them literaly 5mm.....

Over the next two months we’ll be rolling out additional patches which will go even deeper and look to improve several areas of the game:
More options and variety in the character creator
Improvements to hair and general appearance for characters
Ongoing improvements to cinematic scenes and animations
Improvements to male romance options for Scott Ryder
Adjustments to conversations with Hainly Abrams

These upcoming patches will also address performance and stability issues. And we’re looking at adding more cosmetic items to single player for free.

For multiplayer, over the same timeframe, we’re going to continue to build on the APEX missions that have been running since launch. We’ll be adding new maps, characters, and weapons. On Thursday, we kick off the first of three new chapters centered around The Remnant Investigation.

This is just a taste of what’s in store as we continue to support Mass Effect: Andromeda. And as always, you all play an important role in that. We want to hear from you about your experiences, both what you love about the game and what you’d like to see changed. We’re listening, and we’re committed to partnering with you as we continue to explore the Andromeda galaxy together.

i guess no plans for story dlcs, just MP ones

like what the ffff (sorry for using the f word too much) is this? how can you screw up sideburns... who cuts his beard like this? rediculous hipsters?! (It really seems like hair and beards were modeled by different artists in different countries with no ability to comunicate or see each others work!!!!111)

Sorry I do understand I'm late to the party but I was not keen on spending a dime of this pile of high budget EA game.

The problem with character editor is that you can essentially just "morph" existing character presets.

You can't change type of the brows or eyes, just reposition them. They are "fixed" with preset you take. And can't change type of nose, just edit position, depth and size.

All earlier DA or ME games had more powerful character editor then this game.

It is the worst character editor up to this date for any Bioware game. It is objectively BAD part of the game.
