She would know if she was a hybrid, they have an instinctual bond with each other, along with agressive xenophobia. She doesn't act like one at all.
Also, there have been people rejected by the glowing jellyfish things before, it all comes down to whether you're genetically congruent; we were given reasons why Keira was not.

I think that's why the chief is kinda afraid aswell i don't think he wan't her to die if the hybrids try to force a change, and who knows what they might do if she doesn't change if they try to change her? they'll kill her i guess. And that's something Tom doesn't wan't. Did i mention that my theories sucks?

I'm missing the global link in the last episodes. Remember there was this guy who said that these hybrids are not limited to Florida. They are spreading across the globe. So where is the connection to that, i mean Zurer on this Island can't be that important then, where are the hybrids big bosses?

whoKnows, they believe it's happening across the globe. I don't think that. I think it's only happening there to see how people would cope with change. A global invasion would happen later on. Then don't want the people to kill each other off

Yeah indeed... Spoiler: | Was it just me or did he really have to crash the car and then walk away? Risking he's life and all like that? Could he not have pulled over and shoot him instead? But maybe they did it to show the viewers that he's pretty damn serious i don't know. But it felt like it wasn't really needed. |

Maybe he wanted to be able to use the excuse that it was an accident?
We arn't shown if anyone else finds out about the death, but it would be far easier to get away with it if he can explain it as an accident, rather then shooting a man who's handcuffed.

Ediot:
Cause it seems like half he's staff is hybrids, and those who aren't is on Zhuras payroll. So if they wna't i guess they could do anything they wan't to him.

Was a good episode. The dynamic between the two families is working. And the teacher seems interesting... Personally I was hoping at first that the next episode would be just Dave in the town (at first I thought that was why he 'had' to stay, because I was getting worried they were going to kill him off and needed someone to stay behind in order to give us a perspective on what happened) but I guess this means his death is less likely so that's a good thing too

Yeah, and about the teacher, it makes sense but i still think she is or will turn into one of them, or atleast it feels that way.

Well, Maybe some sort of diseases can't be "healed" by them and some can't, just look at that guy i always forgot the name on, well it ain't a disease but hell. He got an arm but maybe that was just an "error" in the cloning.

I think they reject humans with genetic flaws, such as the faulty heart valve the sherrifs daughter was born with. But any diseases or ailments unrelated to the genetic code are eliminated during the cloning process, such as that guy having his arm again.

I tought about something, what if they avoid copying faulty humans with diseases and stuff just to keep their new race "safe" from diseases and stuff?.

Holy crap... This episode blew my mind... It felt really scary aswell somehow... I can't describe the feeling... I also tought about when they separated hybrids from none-hybrids that it felt somehow like natzi germany back in world war two... Or am i just a nutcase like most of my crazy ideas?
This was the most evil episode so far, and most exciting aswell... Constant Wowness over it... If they kill the show... Then im going to nuke the ABC studios...

He didn't say it was a fluke... and it wasn't - it was clearly meant to be inferred in the programme.

So, when those women rip open, do little glowing jellyfish things come out? It would seem so.
In that case, this whole hybrid deal would just be the glowing jellyfish's way of reproducing. But that means that hybrids can no longer have human children, and therefore if everybody became hybrids (hypothetically) then the human race would die out. Just a thought...

Yeah I don't understand that but unlike when watching lost I'm not annoyed by this... Liked the episode very much (though I think it dived in a little too quick - the isolation of Dave was quite tense to begin with for example - thought they could of exploited that a little more).

Naw, I think the pace was good.
I like the pace of invasion. It answers questions and presents new ones every episode. And the episodes actually make you feel like the show is progressing toward something huge, unlike Lost.
Thats my problem with Lost. Some episodes are just so fucking boring and slow and dont really add anything to the story except for character depth.
