I dont have any slow downs at all, so I dont know what are you talking about.

Completed it last night! Wow what a game! Halfway through I must admit I got a bit bored but when I got to the delta labs and the hell levels, things really picked up! I intend playing it through on veteran and nightmare now that I have unlocked it. Does anyone know what the differences are on the different difficulty settings? The bathroom scene from the alpha demo was no where to be found and also the part where the valve handle thing pops off the wall and the pinky demon bursts through the pipes! Why did they remove that!? It was awesome! :/

I don't think it was ever supposed to be in the game. Those levels were just maps that were thrown together for E3 as a demonstration.

One level was included in the final retail build of doom 3 from the E3 alpha. The level where you have to jump down to that reactor thing in alpha lab 1, and the two imps spawn.

I also miss those zombies that come back alive, those r actually one of the only things that scared the shit outta me and it was in the alpha...when i thought a zombie was dead and tried to walk over it it jumped up and smacked me, they definitaley should have kept that.

Cheats ruin the game, whatever game it is cheats ruin it and take out the fun and challange completely.

You do realize with those kinds of comments you can cause circular arguements?
IE: Why does it matter to you whether it matters to me if he cheats or not.
Hell, maybe I am john carmack, and the fact that he cheats ruins all those years of trying to make it scary. THIS IS A FORUM, OPINIONS ARE TO BE EXPRESSED.

damn i cant play it anymore i get blocky green lines all over the screen when i try...does anyone know if theres a way to fix this? Or am i screwed..i hope my vid card isnt ruined, i used to have a ti4400 and started getting artifacts with that one too...help!!!!

well..i was using the beta driver but i've tried like 5 different ones so far. god..now im getting the artifacts on my screen even when im not running a game. argh...

Uh...I didnt cheat, there was a large ammo pick up that gave all my guns an incredible amount of ammo...it was preparing me for hell I guess, but unless I found a huge secret thats normal.

For anyone who has beaten the game. Does it matter if you chose to send or not send that transmission? I saved right at the choice and then chose not to send the message. I'm going to beat the game, then go back and replay it and see if there is a difference. Curious to see if anyone has beat me to it yet.
