|
 |
Release 1
Code: | What is Daedalus?
*****************
Daedalus is a Nintendo64 emulator for Windows and PSP. Daedalus
is named after the craftsman at King Minos's court who designed
the labyrinth for the Minotaur.
About this Release
******************
This release of Daedalus for the PSP is currently in the very
early stages of development. It is intended to show the potential
for a N64 emulator on the PSP, but the current release has many
missing features that make it far from usable:
* There is no savegame support.
* There is no audio support.
* Not all the N64 controls can be used.
* Large roms (i.e. over 8MB) cannot be loaded.
* Many roms won't boot.
* Many roms have serious graphical glitches.
* Many roms have random lockups and crashes.
* Most roms run at a low framerate.
Having said all that, I believe most of these problems can be
overcome in the future.

Code: | A new version of Deadlus N64 emulator for PSP has been released, it would also appear that perhaps PSMonkey will be collaborating with StrmnNrmn in the near future! This new release adds support for large ROMS (8mb +) as well as more

The progress of this emulator has been very impressive, I've been following this since R1 and the amount of things thats improved has been amazing.
Just don't expect this to run great, But give it some time..
