while i think the media hump ad is a fuckin terrific idea, something different to look at each time, i could do without the teenage girls fuckin themselves in bathtubs with dildos. If i want to look at that shit, i'll just pick one of my IE bookmarks at random.

I wrote a comment about this in the general section.
I've enjoyed Nforce for about four years now, and do find the ads really sad. I have a young five year old who really shouldn't be exposed to this sort of thing, so I guess it's a real shame I can only start looking at the site sat on my own like some sad lonely 15 year old virgin, who wouldn't know an adult conversation with a young lady if it hit them like a brick...
Come on admin... clean your act up a bit.

What I was referring to actually, with 'language and general content' is not just the normal posts, but when people randomly post images with adult content, including expletives in large font. The whole tone of this forum is definitely 15+.
Anyway the only way I can really see this as being a problem, is if your computer is in a family area such as the lounge.

Yeah , im with fishslice on this one , i have 2 kids and generally they are running in and out of here ( as i work from home ) and the pics on the front page i dont want to see nor do i want my kids to see them .
an option to opt out of the pics would be good , so the pr0n addicts here can stll get a quick fix inbetween smut surfing

Why not only show random pics from the under 18 category.
Then add a button or something to submit to the NSFW folder. Anyone who repeatedly ignores to do so can get banned :/
Also... it's random what the latest 5 pics are (in a way since the time you view the site is random). Yet often there's porn, so you logic of seeing less isn't right. you'll see no change :/ |

An adult option has been added to media too. The adult pictures are gonna get filtered out now, some might crop up though before a watchfull eye sorts it out.
A report feature is already in the making.

Can't these MediaHump 'Ads' be moved to the bottom of the NFO Pages, some pictures are actually quite disturbing and may spoil appetites and such...
I, personally, don't like the way these MediaHump pics are being displayed on NFOrce, I'd rather have the G-Glass Ads back or something (my Arts teacher, a deranged sunburned woman, used to make glassy things very similar  )...
Anyway, these things scare me and the like and I'd really like to see them moved...
A good alternative would be a good filter for 'unsuitable' content (and the actual IP-banning of offenders who submit without applying the filter), but I suppose there's a lot more work to that...
Not that you care (or should care) about this, probably isolated, opinion, but I wanted to let you know anyway...
The rest of NFOrce is just great!

Well cant u use somethin like google's personalised home and use the nforce RSS feeds (since i'm guessin that's all you use it for) or block all images coming from there? |

One other thing. Could you hotlink the 'randomyl generated images' so that say if I click them it takes me to the image instead of the homepage.
I'm sure it'd be simple to do because the thumbnail says;

I'm sorry about that, i applied the adult filters for the mediaHUMP front page but i forgot to do that for NFOrce. I changed/fixed it sometime yesterday - no porn should popup now, if it still does though, let me know and we'll consider doing something about the ad itself.

Nice idea. We are currently in the process of adding mp3 support (yea Lutzifer, you aint seeing things). I expect i'll manage to finish it till the end of next week, dunno though, busy days this month.
After that we'll prolly focus on video and swf. That piece of info is great syn, syn. Got any more ideas for my TODO list?
