Are the Movies any good in BattleField 2??? I acidently got a Ripped version and its had the Movies removed... am I missing much??

No, just some intro that was posted on every game site before game's release. There is also barely visible video while you are in main menu, nothing spectacular too. Without videos and logos it just takes faster for game to load up Smile

I played BF2 for something more then a half year. But then EA was acting like farmers and cows, so I stopped. Completely NO support, just stupid fixes, and not the fixes I wanted to have.

PC: Yes. Console: No.

well, think it was because I was too tired and spent 1 hour+ trying to get the freaking thing to run and I tried a shit map Razz...

Its actually ok, but I like Battle Field better Smile

It's awesome, I installed it a week ago after not playing for 3 months, patched up, and had a blast Very Happy
No one forces you to buy stupid addon or booster packs, I know I won't buy them. And 90% of BF2 community still plays just vanilla BF2. There are so few SF and EF servers its laughable.

BF2 is very good entertainment, much better than the original - at least as far as Infantry combat is concerned anyway.

I prefer the first one, probably because I don't like modern combat as much. Yeah sure, it's great fun.. but it didnt have the same impact on me like the first time I played BF1942, I was sooo hooked, and it was fresh, exciting.. whenever I wanted to grip some kind of modern concept I would just turn to the mod Desert Combat. Generally I like WW2 much more.. find it more interesting and amusing at the same time, and yeah, I won't deny the fact that WW2 based games has been so milked.. so sure, I'm kinda tired of it at the moment. But anyway, that wasnt the case when I played BF1942.

im experiencing some problems with it.
uninstalled bf2
and installed a fresh installation.
installed full 1.3 patch(400MB+)

now game is going back to desktop after "verifying client data" thingy Mad

My System:
CPU : AMD "Barton" 2500+.
Memory : 768MB DDR PC2100.
GFX : Nvidia 6600GT DDR3 128MB , AGPx8
M\B: Gigabyte GA-7VT600P-RZ MotherBoard
Sound: AC97 Realteck 5.1 ALC655 - Audio.
