These cucks even barely credited him on that skyrim orchestral performance a few years back, let alone consider the possibility of EVER working with him again.
I'll try and find it tomorrow but I remember reading something about him in that his absence might be voluntary due to some shady shit and not necessarily whatever some deranged dangerhair claimed a few years back.

If I remember right:
Sexual harassment allegations I think during the creation of the game Consortium or Consortium: THE TOWER. Which were a bit iffy and I don't think he should get blacklisted for that.

Did The Elder Scrolls VI: Fentanyl get deleted or did I not post it?
I do forget a lot as I get older so either this was one of my many senior moments and I forgot to post it which I don’t think I did.
Or the more likely option is I’m guessing it got deleted because it was AI and/or stupid? Laughing

Well, searched Soule on my overall browsing history and only got this:
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/the-elder-scrolls/by-choosing-not-to-replace-oblivion-remastereds-soundtrack-bethesda-made-the-allegations-against-composer-jeremy-soule-everyone-elses-problem/
https://archive.is/zY9yy
Fucking journo scum which will never even match a hair on Soule's ballsack for creativity, talent and produtivity (he did soundtracks for quite a few games *at least* in the early 00's). Reaction

After some forum crawling saw a kickstarter controversy mentioned, searched for that on google and found the keyword that I remembered from back then, DirectSong:

https://gist.ly/youtube-summarizer/the-controversial-journey-of-jeremy-soul-from-music-maestro-to-disappearance

Quote:
DirectSong and Financial Misconduct
The Founding of DirectSong
In 2005, Jeremy and his brother Julian founded DirectSong, a company and website that sold DRM-free downloads and physical copies of Jeremy’s compositions. While Jeremy touted the platform as a more popular alternative to major music vendors like iTunes, the reality was far less favorable.

Delivery Issues and Poor Reputation
DirectSong quickly developed a notorious reputation for failing to deliver products to its paying customers. Complaints about delayed or non-existent deliveries, coupled with unresponsive customer service, began to pile up. This earned DirectSong an almost unheard-of rating of 0.17 out of 10 or an F from the Better Business Bureau. Some frustrated customers even encouraged others to torrent Soule's music to actually receive what they had paid for.

Class Action Threats
Around 2013, issues came to a head when "Guild Wars 2" players struggled to obtain physical copies of the game’s soundtrack. There were even threats of a class-action lawsuit from the Guild Wars 2 community, although it seems no legal action was ultimately taken. Despite continuous complaints, DirectSong operated until around 2018, although it never managed to repair its damaged reputation.

The Northerner and Kickstarter Controversy
The Kickstarter Campaign
In 2013, Jeremy Soule launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund his ambitious project: an album called "The Northerner—Soul Symphony No. 1." Initially, the goal was set at $10,000, but the campaign ended up raising over $121,200 from more than 4,000 backers. This overwhelming support reflected the widespread belief in Soule's talent and vision.

Delays and Unfulfilled Promises
Despite the successful fundraising, the project soon encountered numerous delays. Updates from Soule began to waver between progress reports and excuses, including the announcement of expanding the project from one album to two. His frequent travels for "inspiration" further fueled backers' suspicions that their money was being misused. By 2017, despite repeated assurances, not a single album had been released.

The Fallout
Backers' frustrations reached a boiling point as many struggled to obtain refunds. Some supporters accused Soule of fraud and threatened legal action. Media attention on the failed project forced Soule to release some "musical sketches," but these were insufficient to pacify his disillusioned backers. To this day, the promised album remains unreleased, and over $120,000 has vanished with it.

After that, the metoo bullshit (I don't care what anyone says, Lawhead comes out as a fucking nutjob but the other woman I know nothing about) was probably the final nail on the coffin.
Anyway, they will probably get Inon Zur for the music on this one.

EDIT: searched the hump for DirectSong and got these hits:

scamming people with the kickstarter is bad enough. Either you redeem yourself or you disappear, he decided to go with the latter.

What a way to end your career, guess he must have fuck-off money.
