Can we please stop boosting every games topic with the DLSS5 videos... The original profile that is going around is for NBA 2K... Really wish that when a topic for a game gets updated its some actual news or updates or stuff about THE GAME and not with some stupid DLSS5 AI slop covers!
I wouldn't be able to go back to the vanilla game after having played through it with several mods -- from the essential ones that enhance stealth and make it viable (Silent Silencers and Throwing Knives + Stealth Finishers + Stealthrunner) to all the immersion-related mods (better/customizable camera views, actual vendors, bartenders etc), not to mention the Gorerunner + Ragdoll Physics overhaul combo, Limited HUD (a must), the quest-related fixes, little QoL tweaks and so forth.
The Damage Scaling mod coupled with the Survival System gives interesting results as well if one is into that kind of experience and wants extra challenge.
FFS, even the latest version of this turd of a game is full of outrageous and game-breaking bugs, the latter of which have been present for roughly a year, and still hasn't been fixed.
Funny thing is, I never had these issues during my first playthrough about a year ago, still back on the non-enhanced or whatever the fuck this version is called. Enhanced, my ass...
Fucking lazy kurwa devs, not gonna see a dime from me, ever. Also, this bodes ill for the Witcher 4 as well. I mean ,these incompetent fucks + UE5...? Yeah, it's gonna be a fucking shitstorm.
Coming soon to Voxta: AI companions for Cyberpunk 2077. Gerald is a decommissioned NCPD patrol robot who rides with you through the Badlands and backs you up in Night City. He hears what you say and answers in his own voice, in character. His replies are generated live; nothing in this video is scripted.
May the NFOrce be with you always.

It's not enough he has a voice in his head that's gonna kill him but now he has to deal with claptrap as well on a daily basis?! V must have done some nasty sh*t in his previous life to get such a terrible ending
Watching some Mike Pondsmith interviews. I am kind of baffled how clueless CDPR was about the whole genre, and far into the development too, like they thought cyberpunk would likely use goofy 1950-style rayguns(!!!) and such weapons, so that's the weapons they made for the game at first. Like wtf?
So they never actually read any CP book (Neuromancer should have been mandatory for everyone, obviously) or saw a movie like Blade Runner, or watched drawings and whatnot from the tabletop game, nope, not the least interested..
He had to explain to them how CP is very modern and super gritty and dark and not like star trek or 1950 sci-fi, they had to take in the whole team of around 100 people to go over it and obviously he told them that all the weapons had to be redesigned.
You'd think that MAYBE if you are doing a Cyberpunk game you would at least get the basics down a little.. typical cocky devs who think they know everything and will refuse to research anything due to their gigantic egos.
I never completely shared their (CDPR's) vision for the cyberpunk style, and thought that maybe they went some cultural / artistic path that I read / known less but now... now I doubt that was the case. It simply was a MESS that happened to work.® imo!
The whole circus / rainbow / fairytale art direction is way too distant (for my taste, at least) from the whole High Tech - Low Life 'sacred' definition.
I always dreamed about a cyberpunk game set in a Blade Runner style setting. Even Deus Ex Human Revolution was more - yellow, yea - but darker than this almost unbearable colorful landscape they called Night City.
They come up as youtube shorts for me, i've watched 4-5 of them. seems like firefox doesn't save them in the History.
2077 is more colorful than the more industrial look of 2020 (tabletop), but i think it might make sense to, they wanted something new because its a new time period.
But yes, i would prefer something a bit darker and more industrial i think, that would be far more unique. E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy-like almost.
